About Aragon Alpacas
Aragon Alpacas is a peaceful and welcoming alpaca farm located just outside Eugene. Visitors are invited to meet the curious and intelligent alpacas through free tours, which are available Tuesday to Saturday by appointment. During the visit, guests can walk in the pastures, learn each alpaca's name, and ask questions about these gentle animals. The owner, often called Ann by visitors, shares a wealth of information about alpacas and their care, making each experience fun and educational. Visitors often comment on how relaxing and lovely the farm is, with its fields covered in daisies and chamomile flowers, and farm cats roaming around. While the alpacas do not like being touched, they enjoy feeding, especially apples, which they love to munch on from the trees above. People appreciate the opportunity to see the alpacas up close in their peaceful environment, often mentioning how the farm helps melt away stress. The farm also offers insights into creating soft, beautiful yarn from alpaca fiber, which visitors have enjoyed learning about. Overall, Aragon Alpacas provides a wholesome, friendly experience for anyone interested in alpacas, whether just to visit or to consider purchasing alpacas for their own farm. Donations are appreciated to help support the farm’s operations.
Very pleasant experience. Went with several other families and met the alpacas and the one llama. Farmer Anne was gracious and told us about the place and the animals, answering questions of adults and kids alike.
