Initially thought good atmosphere, great workers. Shame none of my piercings even stayed in for more than 2 weeks, though. Wasn't even rough with my ears, but still managed to lose 2 inexplicably. $50 for a replacement and waiting a month for the same size piercing is ridiculous. And it DIDN'T STAY IN! I don't know what kind of pin you have to keep the piercing in, but it's not working. Do better.

Got a glass bracket from Glassheart_pdx. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience and beautiful bracket. Area 51 employees where friendly and helpful. The shop is clean, funky and has beautiful jewelry displayed.

I got my daughter's ear pierced here this summer. The whole experience was great!
We were a little worried they had closed because she had just decided to switch earrings out. I called and was told to come down to see if they could get her original earrings back in. We were so happy because they were able to! I can say enough good things about Area 51 piercing, everyone there has been amazing! We will definitely be back!

I was just downsizing a nose piercing I have had awhile and the piercer here was the most gentle piercer I have ever worked with. She was also extremely knowledgeable. I will definitely be coming here again!
