We were in town and looking for a hot yoga studio and we found balanced hot yoga. We had a great class and really enjoyed the heat and the flow. We will be back and certainly recommend this yoga studio.

Practicing hot yoga at Balanced Hot Yoga has been the single best thing that I’ve done for myself in many years. The guides are absolutely wonderful. The space is well designed and there is excellent variability between guides and the classes. They are clearly making an effort to give you a wonderful experience.

I was visiting family in Eugene for Thanksgiving and found that Balanced Hot Yoga had a class that morning. I was nervous as I'm new to yoga, I'm plus size, and I'd never done hot yoga at such a high temperature. But the instructor was incredibly helpful, kind, motivating, and knowledgeable. I pushed myself outside my comfort zone to try something new and I'm so glad I did. I felt very welcome and accepted.

I got into a conflict with one of the teachers, Renee, over being tagged in a YouTube video where they were promoting in-person classes despite not being allowed to do so yet due to the pandemic. She said I think from a "black and white perspective," that I "had a lot going on," and that I "outgrew the yoga studio." Further, she also posted a YouTube video, calling me uncommunicative and that my words were venom while crying. Meanwhile, I had no way to defend myself because I don't have a YouTube account. The video was up for ~12 hours and had at least 38 views before it was taken down. This is upsetting but what is more frustrating is that this yoga studio defending this kind of behavior by replying to my concerns as she was functioning from a place of high emotion. Then when they were refunding what was left of my pass, they pointed out they didn't charge me the $15 refund fee, rather than apologizing and stating actions of how they'll prevent this teacher from acting in such a demeaning way to their students again. I'm sorry but when your yoga teacher, who is repping your business, harasses a student through intimidation and brashly YouTube videos slandering a client, you should refund the full amount without thinking of a refund fee charge. At the time of writing this, this is also the only yoga studio hosting in-person classes despite the state mandates. This is insulting to the rest of the yoga community who is also struggling with the pandemic. If you want fitness and don't question your teacher's behaviors, this is a great place to go. Otherwise if you're looking for a yoga class, please go somewhere else. You should never outgrow a yoga studio. If you do, it's not a yoga studio.

The studio is clean and inviting. Many of my favorite instructors in Eugene teach at Balanced Hot Yoga and the authenticity of the practitioners is refreshing!

This place has my heart. The studio is clean, beautifully decorated and has all the amenities needed if you plans to go somewhere after a hot flow. The instructors are all so encouraging, respectful and fun! I’ve moved out of town but plan on buying passes for my times in Eugene in the future, cause I can’t find a place quite like this gem ?

I’ve tried many yoga studios throughout the years and Balanced Hot is the first one that I have truly fallen in love with. The heat... the cushy floors... the care that goes into making the space a beautiful environment for practicing. The instructors are great and it’s easy to find a class that speaks to how you’re feeling on any given day. Renee is wonderful and I really appreciate the consideration that has gone into the re-opening after COVID. I don’t know what I would do without Balanced Hot Yoga in my life.

I started practicing at Balanced Hot Yoga over 2 1/2 years ago and the moment I walked in I felt an incredibly strong sense of support and community. Renee is a beautiful and powerful soul, and teaches easy to follow and engaging classes as well as really amazingly calming meditation through yoga nidra. Libby is always eager to help, and is full of wisdom. Mariah teaches and wonderful strong powerful class that can really get you going. Each and every one of the instructors bring something amazing to the studio. They continued to bring yoga to their community even through the shutdown via zoom and are implementing safe reopening practices so we can be practicing together as a community once again. So grateful for this studio & community!

I prefer a studio that has all heating and humidity built into floor and ceiling. My experience at Balanced after taking a class was good teachers, but studio heating style was not for me.
