Great shop! Legos for every skill and interest level — and so much fun stuff to look at. We came in hoping to find a minifig that looked like our son. Pretty soon, the manager was helping us make a custom one! We had a blast and our son loved it — we will be back for sure!

The selection here is unreal! WOW. Went in to get a specific piece and they had it. My son loved the Star Wars selection, it’s HUGE. My family and I will be coming back!

Terrible customer service, overpriced, and very disorganized and cluttered.Went in with my kids and kindly asked the gentleman if he could put together a set for me. I only asked because the last time we went in a different worked offered to put together a set, so I just figured I would receive the same service. He acted as if I asked him for the impossible and was very rude. I was pretty caught off guard by his response and I just said that I wasn’t interested and that I would proceed to look for a set that was already together. He then proceeded to mock me and be disrespectful still. Also the last time I went in the workers were being rude to each other and arguing in-front of customers.A simple “I can’t do that now because I’m too busy” would have been fine and understandable. But I did not deserve the amount of disrespect I received. Also, their BrickLink reviews suggest they also have bad online customer service. I will not be taking my business there again.Went down the street to Bricks and Minifigs and was met with great customer services and prices. The owner at Bricks and Minifigs is always so friendly and great with my kids and is always happy to help. Skip Brick Builders, go to Bricks and Minifigs.

The store itself is very impressive, the selection is very nice and the Clerk was very nice to chat to. The prices were a little steep for my taste and some of them seem like they were ill informed on how much used sets go for on average.

wow!!! I cannot believe how amazing the selection here is! The store is pretty much a lego museum. They have the best variety of legos i’ve ever seen in Eugene! This place saved me 100s of dollars. LEGIT! It would have cost so much money to get the parts I needed online, But Otter got me all of the pieces for a great price with NO SHIPPING COSTS! The other lego store doesn’t even really have parts for sale, so I was so relieved when Ammon and Otter had Everything I needed. They also do custom builds and they made me the BEST custom build of my family for our new house. Thanks so much to Ammon and Otter for such a great experience!

Not sure where the positive reviews are coming from, but this by far one of the most disorganized, cluttered and overpriced places I have been to. I felt very unwelcome and did not enjoy my time there. Not to mention their bricklink reviews...yikes. Save yourself a trip and go elsewhere for Lego.

After a grand tour of all the little Lego shops from Portland to Eugene, I thought I had a feeling for how these all were. You have your Bricks and Minifigs franchises, clean, slightly over priced, and kid-focused; your artsy boutiques, laid out like a museum/gift shop, and attempting to create an experience; and then you have your mom and pop consignment types, very friendly, a bit dingy, and prices all over the map.And then I visited Brick Builders. The little unassuming shop with no sign other than painted minifigures on the window. I parked across the street at the bank and got money out of the ATM so they wouldn't tow me. Walking in you immediately get the feeling that you're looking at the very tip top of an enormous Lego iceberg. The place is absolutely packed from floor to ceiling with Lego sets, with some sealed in boxes, some fully assembled, and all states in between. The sight of the volume attempting to be displayed is overwhelming, but as your brain begins to adjust, you begin to realize you are in a very rare and magical place. It is hard to describe in text why this shop is so special, but to someone like me, who is intimately familiar with the rarity and cost of many Lego sets, visiting Brick Builders felt like visiting Disney World. If you've ever wondered where every Lego collection in the pacific northwest ended up, they're all here. Now don't be fooled, the owners here know the treasure they're guarding and the parts, figures, and sets are priced as such. Don't expect to get an amazing deal if you're coming here, but I whole heartedly believe you can find any Lego you've ever dreamed of in their stock. In fact, I was told while I was there that if there was a set I was looking for that they didn't have on display, they would put all the pieces together for me as their parts selection is just as near-infinite as their sets on display. I saw Lego I thought I'd never see in my lifetime here, on the shelf, mint in box. This place is THE location to visit for any serious Lego aficionado. If you ever wondered where every Lego set someone ever loved went after they moved on, Brick Builders dutifully took custody. They have every set I have ever even thought of, often in duplicate or triplicate. Amon, thr owner and head operator, straight up said that if I could think of a set they didn't have on display, he had the parts to put it together to sell to m

I love supporting a small local business, especially one that specializes in Legos, as my husband is a fanatic and has many sets. Recently we started buying sets for me and it's a fun project to do together in our spare time. We had been visiting this store fairly often over the last year or so when we are downtown and trying to find new stuff. I've never felt welcome in this store. The owner/employee is always reorganizing something in a display, and can't be bothered to speak to customers. I feel like I'm interrupting if I have a question. I found a plushie BB-8 when I was in here on one trip. I wanted to buy it, husband says yes. So, awesome! Owner tells me it isn't for sale. I hate being told no. Lol. But it's whatever, I found one on Amazon while standing in the store, and had it two days later instead. Next trip I see it on the shelf again, and the owner walked over and made it a point to move it to a higher shelf, acting like I planned to steal it. I wasn't impressed by that move. The sad part is when my husband saw the owner making it a point to move the BB-8 plushie on our return visit, he ultimately decided not to buy the Lego set he wanted, and instead asked me to buy it on Amazon. It's rare my husband will choose not to support a business he likes, but he didn't appreciate that move anymore than I did. The store is a mess. Like it's an episode of Hoarders waiting to happen. I feel like I'm in somebody's garage and can't tell where the stuff that's for sale ends and the storage shed begins. So I'm never sure if I'm walking into an area I shouldn't be. My last visit was last week, and it will likely be my very last visit. After stopping in here, we went to Bricks and Mini Figs, and the vibe is so much more positive and welcoming. It is sad to me that I'd rather buy from Amazon instead of a small local business because they go out of their way to make me feel unwelcome in their store.

I went into this store not really knowing how to start my partners present and Otter literally saved the day. Not only did he take the time to really help put together something unique and special for him but he was super knowledgeable on how to get what I had pictured to work. Will definitely be coming back!

Super fun store. So many options. Legos (in general everywhere) are expensive, but if you're willing to spend some money, this is a great option to do so.Owner is great. One staff wasn't necessarily mindful of his conversation in front of kids, talking about Kevin Costner in an adult film while kid and I looked around. It was funny how he didn't realize that the owner was trying to get his attention to stop. That was the only *weird moment I've had there over dozens of trips. Highly recommend this to everyone! Just beware that non-owner staff may not have the most dialed in social skills.

They sell Suspish stickers! This is one of the best stocked extremely organized Lego stores I’ve ever seen. It’s quiet amazing. The prices seem a little high, but I haven’t collected Legos in many years. So that might be normal. I’d recommend stopping in to see the amazing collections and variety. There are some amazing sets now days and this store does a phenomenal job of displaying them. Staff also very friendly and down to earth. Easy to talk to.

Thought I got ripped off at first, but after looking at my email receipt, I realized I was wrong and after counting 116 pieces; 5 wasn't a bad price at all. I was the mini figs that threw me a curve ball ? the human brain sometimes ??
