Stay far away! You may be denied a vehicle you already paid a week for, based on made up rules, due to your looks (yes discrimination) or other factors. I called in previously and was told I'd have no trouble booking a car. When I arrived, totally different situation and they even called police on me! I rent a car and travel often and have never experienced anything like this. If I could give negative stars I totally would and I am talking with an attorney about suing this place because they totally ruined my Christmas holiday. I flew in on Christmas day and I had already paid for my vehicle, I went to the counter and of course the customer service lady definitely did not want to be there on Christmas day, which I don't blame her but why take it out on customers, she was rude with every customer before me and with me as well. She was so quick to point out that my license was expired but I had showed her my verification from Oregon that it had been paid and current until 2029, reminded her that Oregon recently had a moratorium due to them being behind in shipping out licenses and license plates etc. not only did she get the story all wrong when she called the manager but it almost seemed as though she just did not want to rent me a vehicle. I asked her if I may speak with the manager and she said no, not unless you want to stand here until Monday because this is Christmas. But she had just called the manager on the phone and wouldn't listen to me when I was trying to explain and show her the proof. Her attitude was so disgusting and people were just shaking their heads. So she would not let me speak with the manager and refused to let me rent vehicle and I explain to her that I came all this way to see my children and how this is really not a fair policy and she mocked me and said next in line. As I walked away she said "have fun walking to see your f***** kids". When I asked for her name she would not give it to me and she also was not wearing a name tag. She would give me no information on how to contact the manager also. Horrible horrible service and individual to be working here and because she would not provide her name I took a picture so that Corporate knows exactly who this person is. she was rude to customers before me and after me to the extent that someone even came up to me afterwards and apologized, a customer! This individual should not be working in customer service. She refused to even tell me who the manager was or how to contact them and told me that I could stand there until Monday for all she cared. the lady sitting next to her also would not release the name or how to contact a manager and was extremely rude as well , as in previous rentals there.. These losers even called the police on me and tried to get me "kicked out of the airport" for taking a picture of her when she wouldn't give her name, and no name tag, sorry but taking a picture, especially to be used as evidence when I sue Budget isn't illegal , especially when you won't release manager's info and won't wear a name tag, or give your name, clearly in an effort to conceal the name so people couldn't make complaints. Expect to hear from my attorney because I incurred lots of damages due to your huge mistake not recognizing a legal document. Enterprise was much friendlier and I gladly paid more for better car and more professional service.

Very poor customer service spent a long time on the phone waiting on computer system to load the inventory and the company dropped my call after no computer service with out a we can't help or anything just hung uphad to give one star to be able to post.

Worst experience EVER!!!!! Guy helping us was rude and wouldn't do anything to help us change our reservation and kept trying to over charge us. STAY AWAY, this is your free advice. Corporate was no better at helping us either and said they couldn't refund the $200 they charged us when we made the reservation (on a $100 rental) for 7-10 days!

Zero stars earned. I had trouble with my debit card being processed due to suspicious activity. When it was resolved the man behind the counter refused to try again. He said, “it’s a lot of work.” After waiting 30mins he said he’d try one more time and for some reason it declined again. Even though there was no longer a hold. I called my bank a third time and they said there is no hold on my card. I really wonder if he tried again? He was very rude even though I was being super patient for him to help others...

Facility is shabby and dirty, and it appears someone lives behind the building in a motorhome. I showed up an hour early and woman would not give me the car, which was fine, but then acted like she was doing me a big favor when she said she would give it to me two minutes before my time. I had to return the car a day early as I had a family emergency. She did not say one word to me during the check in process. She took my paperwork and handed me a receipt, no mention if there was a refund or not, there was literally not a word spoken. The car was fine and serviceable, the process was fine. Customer service and facility were poor.

I will never rent from budget again! They gave me an unsafe truck to drive knowing I was driving 900 miles! Very unprofessional customer service.

Easy peasy! Don't be scared off by the low scores, my experience was good. I tried to rent a truck last weekend and found that ALL other options were booked in this area with 2 state universities. I was concerned by the reviews for Budget and after checking online, I was still hesitant so I called the national line and booked it. When I arrived the next day, I was on the road in 5 minutes with friendly staff wishing me well. Returned it after-hours and noted the correct amount on my credit card the following Monday. So I give it 4 stars only because they don't answer their phone very well. But simply go-online to schedule and expect a smooth process when you show up.

I was having the worst move possible and the staff at the Eugene, OR site was friendly and helpful. I reserved on line and got great discounts. They changed a horrific time in my life to a grateful experience. Thank you!

I usually rent from u-hual but i decided to go to budget this time. That was my mistake, the most I've been charged for a truck was 63$ with insurance and everything. They ended up charging 93.60$ it was an even shorter distance then my last move. Literally three blocks away, unlike my last move which was across eugene. They charge you an extra 10$ to drop off after hours. So if you rent the truck at 11am and decide finish by 6pm you'll be charged because they close at 5pm😑. Never renting from Budget again! Also if you get a quote online don't think that it'll be close to the estamte. They will want you to have insurance before leaving they charge all together 52.94$. From now on I'm going to read the reviews.

They never answer their phone. You have to go national level to talk to robot and answer alot of questions to to extend the time you have the truck. I will NEVER go through these guys again. Looks like UHaul next time.
