Best veterinarians for cats in Eugene. We have brought our cats to them for all medical matters since we moved to Eugene. They have provided kind, knowledgeable care for all our cats from the time they were kittens to end of life services.

I was given a reasonable (low-ish) quote for a spay but... the spay, the pre-exam, and the shots ended up costing me a total of $500 or $600. I can't remember which because it was a year or so ago. I was getting my neighbor's cat fixed and I went here because I could get her in faster than anywhere else... the owner was letting her cat run around loose. I probably will not be going back because the cost ended up being so much higher than what I was expecting and I'm low income. The pre- exam is a separate appointment before the spay and it is required. What happens at the pre exam is the vet looked at the cat... That's all. But I get that they have to check to make sure they aren't sick. If you want a good price for a spay and you need it done fast, I recommend Sweet Home Veterinary or Brownsville Veterinary. Brownsville is the cheapest spay you can get anywhere besides WAG and the old pound. If vets cared about helping reduce the animal overpopulation problem then they would keep spay prices low. Keep in mind if you are getting a stray cat fixed, you must tell the vet that they are your cat, otherwise they won't do it.

The staff here are professional, attentive, and highly knowledgeable. My boy, Dino, is 12 years old and suffers from allergies, amongst other conditions. Prior to relocating to Eugene, Dino was a patient of a cat specialist in SoCal (who was also wonderful). In Eugene, we originally were seeing another veterinarian in town, but I felt he needed better care from a clinic that focused specifically on feline care. While it did take a few weeks to book an appointment, the wait was beyond worth it. Dr. Patricia Shea spent a considerable amount of time asking me a variety of in-depth questions about my cats history, behaviors, and diet. This was perhaps one of the most in-depth and detailed vet consultations, diagnosis, and treatment experiences I've ever had with any of my animals (I also fostered kittens and adult cats for 10 years as well as dogs). In addition, the staff and doctor are also humble and willing to refer you to a specialist if the treatments do not work.
Within 5 days, our treatment plan (thus far) seems to be improving his symptoms. I am so grateful for finding this place in town. I highly recommend giving them a try.

Wonderful caring vets who really know cats. Great to go to a vet office with no dogs in sight!

We've been taking our cat there for years (10 +) and we are very satisfied. The staff is very helpful and attentive. It's also nice to go to a cat only vet clinic where everyone understands how cats are! I have no complains.

Best veterinarian experience we've ever had! My kitty hasn't always appreciated a vet visit but they were so caring, kind, and professional that it was a Very positive & pleasurable experience. I highly recommend them & so does my kitty! ??
