  I have been a client at Chikara for more than 15 years. The staff is great! The hairstylists are fantastic! The aestheticians are so talented!, The owner, Cassidy, is not only talented herself, but a wonderful and welcoming businesswoman!!

  Great experience! Was able to fit me in last minute. New to Eugene area and first hair cut since moving to town and couldn’t be happier. Love my hair and Brianna was intuitive, respectful and friendly. Highly recommend her if are looking to change things up and don’t really know what you want… that was my situation and I love my hair again thanks to her

  Cosmin was amazing- all of the tension I was holding has melted away. He took the time to talk to me about letting go of the negative and the massage was everything I wanted. Will definitely book with him again! Only downside was I've been holding onto a gift card from my parents and when I tried to use it she said there was nothing on it? I've never been to Chikara before so I know I didn't use it. Been in my wallet for two years. Regardless I paid and my massage was great

  Azi does my haircut and highlights, and she is absolutely amazing. She's not only incredibly talented but also takes the time to really understand what I want. I always leave feeling confident and loving my hair!
  
  For waxing, Bri and the owner Cassidy are incredible! Cassidy was kind, friendly, and easy to talk to. They both create such a welcoming, comfortable environment that instantly puts you at ease. They're professional, and truly care about making every visit a positive experience!
  
  The whole team at Chikara is warm and skilled—it's clear they love what they do. I’m so happy to have found this salon!

  My granddaughters wedding. I felt wonderful with the beautiful job that I given by the ladies that are there. I am 80years old, they helped me feel so good about myself. I recommend them highly. They treat you like family and care. Also, so nice and helpful to me on the phone. God bless them all.❤️❤️❤️🫂🫂🫂Thank-you again.

  The salon is very high end, clean and the lady at the front desk was super sweet and offered me a drink. I opted for water.
  
  Requested style: I went in with a photo of a shag cut and as soon as I walked out I started crying. The cut I requested was not a bowl placed on my head, then cut, then a smaller bowl placed then cut. I only have a bob. I told her I loved it because I didn’t want to hurt her feelings, but I will be calling to get it fixed by someone different. I mean it’s only hair, it will grow back, but I want it to at least look 1/2 way decent when it grows out.
  
  Stylist: I’m not going to mention any names. She was super nice, but couldn’t even come close to the cut I was looking for. I wanted a layered shag cut and I came out with a bob, 2 long layers and tears in my eyes.

  Cosmin is the BEST for a deep tissue massage. He was very thorough and thoughtful in his technique. The massage bed is like a cloud , so incredibly comfortable.
  Spa rooms are clean and well kept. Only a few things to note about ambiance. I wish the massage rooms were farther away from the actual salon to mitigate noise. You can still hear quite a bit of what’s going on in the salon and in the hall way. I wish the massage music was a little louder as well to drown out the noise . Over all though the massage was so great I eventually put it a side. Will definitely be coming back!

  $70 for a quarter quick hair trim! Wow I was ready to pay 50 +tip. My hair is just trim. Lady was nice, but be prepared to pay for a smile.
