I still dream about this place and need to go back soon, bought a couple candle holders but regret not getting more, will definitely be back very soon. Such a beautiful place.

When asked for an item off the wall, I saw the price was $89.95. The owner went to grab it but said that it didn’t have a price tag and she’d go grab another from the back. A few minutes later she comes back out and says it is $129.95! The prices are extremely high for items made in China, and she was rude once I said I felt like it was too expensive and I’d pass on purchasing that item. I won’t be returning or encouraging family or friends to visit this store. The owner is not friendly and jacks up prices when she feels like it.

Definitely won’t go back to this place. Didn’t even get to buy anything, was being watched by the worker. I didn’t appreciate being watched while I was looking at those beautiful scarfs. When I get the feeling of being watched like a common criminal, take my business else where. Thank you for putting a damper on my birthday lady. Why couldn’t you been nice like the candy store and the candle store. They got our money today. Your loss.

I absolutely love this place! Hands down, the very best home goods store with the most beautiful and unique items - everything from candles and throw pillows, bar accessories and gourmet foods, kichenware and silk flowers, wall art and clocks, and scarves and all the latest and greatest HOBO bags and SO MUCH MORE And in late November, the whole place is transformed into a winter wonderland!! The owner puts great thought and care into making this a one of a kind shop. Trust me, GO!!

I have shopped at Design Works for years. I especially like the owner who works hard to stock her store with the most beautiful items and is both pleasant and kind always. Gift wrapping is a bonus.

Wonderful home goods and gift shop in charming downtown Coburg. The owner-operator is an interior designer and the shop is full of gorgeous home and garden décor, candles, soaps, and other fun stuff.
