East Amazon Auto has been my go to for car repair for over 30 years now. Dave and his team don’t talk down to me because I’m a woman. They have always treated me like a human being and have always backed up their great service with pride in their work and quality reputation that they live up to. I won’t take any of my vehicles anywhere else.

They were very honest about my 2010 Subaru that needs a lot of work. They took pictures of everything and we had a good conversation about if the repairs should happen if we were to keep the car. Again, a lot of upkeep that was missed by other shops, including the dealer. I appreciate their honesty.

I have gone to East Amazon in the past for a standard oil change on my 2012 Toyota Corolla and I guess they did an OK job. However, I wouldn't recommend using them if you happen to be a woman with little or no knowledge of auto repair. I had the same experience as Shoofy (who also posted a review on this site). I needed a transmission fluid drain done and the person I spoke with said that the transmission filter needed also to be changed and he was going to charge me over $500 for this service. That's money I can't really spare. I spoke to a Toyota technician and he told me that my model car doesn't even have a filter, it has a screen. Also that the work the Amazon tech was recommending wasn't necessary. Their pricing is more expensive than the average so I won't be returning to East Amazon Auto in the future.Service: Transmission repair

Best mechanic shop experience EVER!!! They were up front about what my car needs and the cost. Understood that I can't get another car anytime soon so fixing this one is my only option. Worked out a timeline with me going from "needs done now" to "can wait" and a cost estimate for everything. Would HIGHLY recommend these guys!!!

SO HAPPY w/East Amazon Auto Service! I had 4 service lights lit up on my dash, all related to the braking system. RATS had chewed through my wiring (and also my back seat, but that’s another story) and Dave had to remove my back seat to get to the problem area. I’ve included a picture of my affordable bill, so you can see for yourself. They do so much RIGHT here! The affordable hourly shop rate, the rose left on my front seat, how kind Dave was and how he explained everything to me, and the beautiful Chocolate Lab named Callie who gives the best customer service ever ?Services: Electrical repair

Efficient work, reasonable costs, excellent customer care. Went in for a repair/part replacement on my civic, but they also happen to be a less expensive option for oil changes than your typical chain w/ an included inspection for leaks. Definitely feels like you're in good hands. Kinda feels like this is that holy grail you're looking for when you ask someone in town if they "know a good mechanic".

I would give less if possible. Rude on the phone and was literally told by the man on the phone "that's not something I want to get into" when asking him to run a diagnostic test through the computer on one of my vehicles. Absolutely disgusting service. Would not recommend and will share on social media platforms to help convince people not to use this business.
