Had a blast here!! The cashier was so friendly and directed us to some Minecraft items to consider for my son. We ended up buying some stickers and a few other fun things. Would highly recommend.

Our family continues to have such good experiences shopping at Elephant’s Trunk. They have such a great selection, kind and engaging staff, and there’s no pressure if you take your time shopping.

Gwen at Valley River is always so exceptionally helpful. She went above and beyond at Christmas to help my son find the Pop Figure he’d been looking for and connected us to Radar Toys where we were able to secure the item. Today, Gwen came to the rescue again. We enjoy your energy and absolute love for toys and helping people. We need more Gwen’s in the retail world. Thank you Gwen and Elephants Trunk. You’ve been our go to toy and game store and will continue to be ♥️

I've been there multiple times...bought great gifts for grandkids and others. Liza is wonderful! I don't know what that other reviewer was talking about since she is so friendly and treats her customers like royalty. This is the best place to find unusual toys and things you won't find anywhere else.

A wholesome toy store with a wide variety of gifts for children of all ages: games, books, cuddling toys, Barbie’s, playmobile etc.I had such a lovely time and the gentleman serving me was very helpful. Will be going again when I’m next in Eugene.

Ended up there twice in one day!! The lady working there was super sweet and we talked about Jellycat stuffed animals for 20 minutes the first time I was there. The second time I went there it was to get another stuffed animal and she helped me pick out the perfect one. This is by far a 5 out of 5 star place.

Liza is from California and honestly it shows..... treats her staff terrible and generally had a bad attitude. Sucks cause there's good selection and it's otherwise a cute toy store

We like to take the kids here when wer in oregon but it is very expensive. They definitely cant get more than one toy each and we still spend a Benjamin.

This is my favorite Elephant's Trunk location. They have a huge selection of high quality toys. I like to collect Jellycat stuffed animals and this particular location seems to have the best stock of them in the city; they usually even have some retired designs which is fun to find. This is overall a great toy store if you are looking for a high quality gift or like to collect certain toys!

A thoughtfully curated toy store with a welcoming staff. You don't find places like this anymore, they just don't exist! My son is only a few months old and yet we LOVED exploring and showing him things. We especially enjoyed the massive selection of Jellycat stuffed animals. They also had an amazing selection of books, truly a gem in Eugene.

It is so hard to find a truly legit toy store anymore, especially one where the toys and games inspire creativity and learning and don't all require WiFi or recharging at the end of the day. This toy store is truly one of my favorite in Oregon. It has a good selection of classic children's toys like Playmobil, Hot Wheels, and Brio. They also have a great selection of children's books and puppets to help foster a child's creative learning. As a side note they also have a few of these classic coin-op rocking animals including an elephant and an Oregon Duck-the mascot for the local university. The staff was great and very knowledgeable about activities appropriate for certain ages and developmental levels.

With the demise of the big-chain toy stores, finding a "regular" toy store can be a challenge. You'll find boutique toy stores, vintage toy stores, toy & hobby stores, etc But luckily Elephant's Trunk fills that need for just a straight up regular toy store. They have a good range of stuff, from baby toys on up to stuff for older kids. Coloring books, blocks, toy cars, fidget-spinners, little guitars, and everything in between. It's a big store and nicely designed, so it's fun to walk around and check things out. Of course it's very kid friendly. Given the 5th St. Market location, you probably won't find any bargains. That being said, the prices seem pretty reasonable. It's definitely worth checking out!

My husband and I just went to this store to find our first toy for our first baby, after getting tons of snarky comments under her breath, the woman at the desk called us "weirdos" and waved us out the door saying "bye!!" In a very rude voice. We didn't end up picking a toy we'd like and I left the store crying.
