Backyard Farmer is a wonderful place to buy all kinds of feed for animals. Along with that, they even have these great funny chickens out side in front. Often they have had sweet little chicks inside, under lights to keep them warm. I have, in the past, brought students there to see them and hold them. Such a great small place, to be honored. I will post photos next time.

What a wonderful find! We drove by and were intrigued by the raised beds and we stopped to see what it was all about. Nice folks. Very knowledgeable about a wide range of stuff that we are interested in like gardening and pets. Nice mix of organic plants and fertilizer. We loved the seed exchange program. One of the nicest little gardening happenings in Eugene. Check them out!

Backyard Farmer has the cheapest, and more importantly, the most proper Duck and Goose feed mix that I use to go feed the fowl at Alton Baker. They also have so many other items that you needs as a city gardner who is earth continous. SUPPORT LOCAL!

Eugene Backyard Farmer is a great, family-owned local business. Friendly and knowledgeable people. A well curated selection of tools, feeds, and plants. Plus a demonstration garden of beds and composters - made from Willow and living willow. A great place to be inspired.
