Grays Garden Center is hands down the best! Every time I visit, I’m blown away by the exceptional service and the quality of their plants. Their selection is always fresh and healthy, and the staff is unbelievable when it comes to answering even the oddest plant questions. They always go above and beyond to ensure I have the right advice and products for my garden.
I can't wait for spring when their wide variety of vegetables starts coming out. It’s always a highlight of the season! Top-notch business—Grays Garden Center truly sets the standard for customer care and plant expertise!

Beautiful florals. evil management.

Hilarious how intensely they police an EMPTY parking lot during the day. Maybe think about renting out the parking spaces to the other business during the day instead of being jerks. I won't buy garden supplies here on principle now.

Went to grays to get flowers/plants for Mother’s Day and I begged my boyfriend to come along and convinced him to go order us food at beer garden to go while I shopped around so he wasn’t bored out of his mind while I was wondering. The worker in the parking lot immediately told him our vehicle would be towed because he was walking into beer garden. My boyfriend told him that I was shopping inside Grays and he was just picking up our food while I shopped and the worker proceeded to tell him that it didn’t matter we were going to get towed. I had no idea this was going on as I was browsing the isles and my boyfriend called me to tell me about it. Needless to say they will no longer get our business. Very disappointed with how disrespectful the employees there are. I know it’s probably hard being next door to an extremely successful business but there is no need to be so rude.

Not sure if it was the owner or an employee but Grays could really use some work on customer service. We really wanted to support a locally owned garden place rather than a chain store. Went in this evening around 5:30 pm, parked in Grays Garden reserved spot, as we walked towards the building on the left looking for the entrance, someone pointed out that one of the store workers may be taking our license plate to tow us. The male worker that was wearing a Red T shirt tonight came out and said through the fence “just so you know I called a towing truck for your vehicle”. We stated we were parked there FOR them! We’ve never been there, and didn’t know the entrance, but we were parked in the Grays garden shop parking spot. He said “well you should have walk around that way.” We weren’t out of our vehicle for more than 2 minutes, and have never been there before, and instead of asking us (even though it was clearly obvious we were looking for the entrance) you call a tow truck almost immediately? We ended up going elsewhere and will not be coming back.

Great experience with Jessica! She patiently spent time helping me plan (and order) hanging baskets and flower pots for a wedding. Super grateful.

Gray's is a wonderful place to shop for annual and perennial plants, hanging baskets, roses, trees, garden ornaments, indoor plants, and plant supplies. The people here are knowledgeable and very helpful.

Staff is friendly, decent selection of plants, and unlike their competitor there are bathrooms for customers to use

We bought a Japanese Maple there last May. We paid 175.00 for it. I have all the receipts and tags. It failed to leaf out this spring. We were home all last summer, put it in an organic, established well drained garden area with great soil. It was carefully tended all summer and watered regularly with well water. It had a good root ball and was delivered by them for a fee. The other tree we bought, a pear, did well gave us 2 pears ! and is back this spring. Grays refused to give me a credit for another maple tree. I ask to talk to the manager finally. They said on the phone today I had to buy root stimulation amendment to be guaranteed from them so…. that keeps them from having to honor a credit. I was never informed of this by the cashier. They said this is an obvious rule, that I did not see or have stated to me at check out. So this is ALL MY FAULT. I found them well rehearsed and somewhat rude on the phone about it. So this is how they operate. Not good customer appreciation to say the least. I have spent a lot of money there on our new half acre garden. I’ve been battling cancer this year and this garden became my only focus and my healing process. Everything else we have bought there has thrived here, since I am an experienced gardener of 45 years. Sadly, I will not be shopping there again. I’ve actually been treated much better at Lowe’s, a chain store

My son and I went to Gray's on a beautiful mid-week, April day to buy bedding plants and veggie starts. The plants we bought were not cheap but gorgeous. The staff, however, were either non-existent or really grumpy. I could not find a clerk to ask about tomato plants as they did not have any out. And the checker was very grumpy and abrut, and got mad at me for the lack of a tag with a barcode in one of my plants. I don't think that was my fault...A line formed behind us at the checkout, and that seemed to iritate the checker even more. Perhaps they were understaffed? I don't know...but I will besitate to return. Because there is enough negativity in the world and I don't need more of it when I am doing something that truly brings me joy: buying plants.

I wish I’d had a better experience at this place , it’s walking distance from my house. I think for small plants this place is okay but if you’re looking for trees or shrubs or big ticket items I would not recommend Grey’s on 6th.
I was pricing Arborvitae and needing to purchase a substantial number of them for a privacy barrier and called around town initially and Gray’s gave me the lowest price for the trees plus a delivery fee of $45 in town. The person on the phone gave me the best price I found that day and so I decided to go to them and make the purchase but once I got there I was told the delivery fee was actually $50 and the pricing for the trees was going to be $85 rather than the quoted $65 for each tree! It would’ve been one thing if it was just one employee making a mistake, but the employee who showed me the trees knew nothing about planting them, how far apart to plant them, or how tall they would grow, this person basically told me all the wrong information. On top of all that, The quality of the trees were terrible. They were small and brown and did not look healthy. I ended up going to Lane Forest Products instead and paying for someone to haul them from there. The day we were planting the trees we stopped in at Grays again for fertilizer because they were the closest but once again the employees and even the manger didn’t seem to know anything about what fertilizers they had, so we ended up at Down to Earth where they had a much better selection and the people working there were well informed.
Again, Grays on 6th is very cute and they have lots of pretty trinkets, wind chimes and water features and if you just needed a low cost item quick and know exactly what you are was looking for, it’d likely be okay for that but I probably won’t return there.

terrible prices, mean management, years of mistreatment towards employees. As well as running a towing scam!
