There is a time and a place for HB.
Here is my general standard: I need a tool or similar that will almost certainly work now, probably work the next 4-39 times I need it, and nobody's life is on the line.
This is actually most of my tool and hardware needs.
Most prices are pretty OK.
Some of their prices are HORRIBLE, though... you can easily negate your savings with one dumb purchase.

Good prices and decent products. It's gonna be cheaper made tools but if you just have one project that needs something specific it's great. I went in looking for a plastic bonder and came out with super glue, 3 for $2. Staff are nice, and if you shop there a lot you can save money with their savings card. They also give away small items, think 25' measuring tape or 5 x 9 tarp, when they have sales.

Always a pleasant experience. I would rather them have a harbor freight truck that would just come to my shop. But I think that market is cornered already. Lol.

I love Harbor Freight!! They have some amazing prices!! The store is neat, clean and organized!! If u get the ad the prices are even better. This is my go to store for lots of different items!! One more thing returns are so easy and everyone who works here is helpful and very nice!! HARBOR FREIGHT ROCKS
