We have had Carlos Burgos prepare our taxes for 3 years now. He advised us and we trusted him. We get a letter from IRS stating we made an error in 2023. Thanks to his POOR diligence, we owe $2,000 back to the IRS. And while preparing the most recent return, he still wanted us to pay full for his work performed. Not satisfied and will not be returning.

Based on my experience I am surprised by all the other 5 star reviews. In my case:
- They were difficult to get ahold of - by phone, did not answer 4 out of 6 times I called. In person, there was no receptionist present 3 out of 5 times I went in.
- Took over a week to finish my taxes, another company does them in 2 hours while I am present
- Language barrier
- I did not get a good feeling about their competence to do my taxes
- Expensive - they charged me 50% more than another company last year, and I was not offered any discounts or coupons
Needless to say I wont be coming back next year.

Had taxes done- explained married but separate, tax pro filed me as single- when I went in to have 1040 x done , before April 15 as required , they blew me off.
I paid good money to have it filed correctly

Last year my first time doing taxes with H&R Block was not happy at first never got anything back regarding that years return met Carlos Burgos and instantly gave me piece of mind he got me right and did this years tax return and last years he’s the man good tax service kept his word and is very professional. !

I have been here since 4:47pm for a 5pm scheduled app and now it 5:30pm with no help. No one said hello or let me know what's going on. Since I have been waiting and I'm stubborn I will keep waiting cause why not. Customer service is terrible here.( Edit) Laurie Moser was Helpful and made me feel better with her Profesionalism and I hold no anger any more even though I owe money to federal. People get busy sometimes and it takes longer.
