Such poor customer service. After being a customer for many years a so called platinum supposedly special customer. I wasn't able to access the site from my laptop so used my iPhone but at checkout it didn't give me the option of using my star money. I called right away but was told it wasn't possible to use it on that order because it had to be done at checkout. He didn't care about my explanation. It was for a $135 item, that dropped to $120 the next week. I would have returned it but it was a very large carpet. Never again. So short sighted to lose a customer for $10.

I need a shirt and pants for our wedding.I also need them tailored.A sales associate took the time to make sure I had all the contact info for an Alterations Service and gave me a hand written note with email, physical address, phone number and let me know to make an appt first.Thank you.Excellent Customer Service.I appreciate you.

platinum member shopping and worked for Macys and have had an ongoing miserable experience at the Macys in Eugene Oregon. The manager Rich is a bully and not only tried to intimidate me away when I inquired about my jewelry warranty after having to bring back my infinity 2 carat diamond braceled for damage twice and its poor quality that he harassed me and bullied me for no acceptable reason acting as if he is untouchable. I kept my composure and refused to be bullied this us not the first time no wonder this location is an embarrassment to Macys as a whole. This is my first review but I will be pursuing how discriminated harrassed and bullied as well as telling his employees to refuse to sell me anything as well as not allowing them to respond as if they as well are fearful of him causing a scene and embarrassing me He is out of control and when I asked him for his card and the corporate number he refused defaming my character by stating "I am afraid what you will do with myname" He is beyond unprofessional. Then he gave me the wrong number when I asked for the corporate number. I have been a customer for 40 years as well as an employee and this will be the first time I right a review especially negative. Until my experience consistently at this location Macys was my happy place now I feel abused and attacked and he needs to be stopped because this nature is not I am sure just affecting me. He was threatening and discriminating against me and I can not let this go anymore he needs accountability and he is giving Macys and its customers a bad experience

Most frustrating experience I've had in years. I go into the store wanting to exchange a pair of Adidas I received as a Christmas present. Due to the fact that adidas no longer sells their shoes in store, I was to be refunded instead. So... they send me a Merchandise Certificate in the mail, which took 2 months to show up to my house, and get this... this certificate can only be used in store. So here I am talking to someone over the phone about how I'm supposed to buy shoes online with this, and they tell me to call a different number on their website. Which I do, just to be told that this certificate is for in store use only. So how am I supposed to purchase these shoes if I am not able to get a gift card or a real refund. ? This must be a joke. I work in retail as well. It should not be this hard for a costumer to purchase something. Called again, told I can come into the store to order online. Who doesn't want to waste gas to order online and have it sent to your home a week later?

The selection and customer service here has been good, but what sale items are really what appeals to me about Macy's. I've scored a lot of gems on the sale racks! Sizes can vary a lot, even within the same brand, so I've learned to try everything on, even t-shirts. The cash rewards keep you returning (nice, but dangerous :)

So did not get much of my shopping done. Men's shoe selection was lacking. Onto the Clinique counter. The sales lady was trying to talk a woman into a purchase, which took a while and ultimately failed. She was not as zealous talking to me. I asked about the difference between two products, and she basically said they are different. Since she was not very helpful. I decided to shorten my order. I asked for two large containers of products I wanted. All of a sudden she came to life when she realized I was actually buying something. Hello! why else am I here?! Suddenly, she become attentive but I was done with shopping for the day.

Every time I go there I always get great service! I shop a lot online, and sometimes I have to pick up my things at the service desk. The ladies there are always so friendly, and sometimes when it doesn't work out I have to do a return, I never get ugly looks they are always still very nice to me. My most recent interaction has been upstairs in the bedding department where an associate named Isabel has been helping me find the perfect bedding for this warm weather. I've been finding her also working and the bra Department, and we just keep running into each other. She's helped me many times so maybe I shop there too much. LOL. I've also been downstairs in the handbag department where I've gotten really good service as well. It doesn't matter where in the store I have shopped the associates have always treated me with lots of great customer service as you would expect from any store. Thank you Macy's for going over and Beyond!

20-30 min wait to pay for an overpriced rug using a voucher they wouldn't let me use on anything else. Nice sales lady doing by her very best, but she didn't have any help. It just feels depressing, like I'm being ripped off, and like I've wasted a precious hour of my life. Don't buy the furniture, warranty it's a total scam.

I stood in men's dress shoes for 30 minutes just needing a size, the employees kept dodging me and I ended up walking out. As a frequent shopper at Macy's I've never experienced such bad service. This was on 5/12/2019 at 3pm

I don't really care that they have great mercantile. Most of their employees are a bunch of stick-up-their-ass snobs. The last two times I shopped there, the first was looking for a cute outfit, very similar to one that a friend had given me as a gift. I liked it so much, I wanted another one in a different style. The employee there was so put out when I asked her is they might have the one I wanted in a smaller size. Wow, how rude of me expecting her to check in the back! The second... And the last time I'll go there, my daughter had given me a couple of thermal shirts that I absolutely loved but they were a size too small. I tried to make an exchange. The (young man) checked for me - grudgingly - and informed me that they were available in my size at the Salem store (only 70 or so miles away). Could they ship them down to my location? He looked at me like I was from another planet, and replied, no, they can't do that. I took my shirts without a word (although I had a couple in my mind).
