So, another little Yelp to follow up. With regard to the check they have which is a third of what they owe me, I have left a message to Easton and Britton asking them to call me. They will not return calls and they will not take calls. This morning I left a message for Easton to mail the check and gave him my address. Let's see if this is what they call WORLD CLASS SERVICE, I am confused. Let's see how it rolls. My guess is they won't even mail the check today. My guess is the manager has no clue what they have done, but indeed if he does, he should make this right. Certainly, there is one honest competent person at this store???

My very first experience with any Dealer ever after 45 years of driving and I was basically overwhelmed with the friendly professionalism from each and every person that I had come in contact with during my visits. They took care of my car by honoring an extended warranty on my car and I’ve never been there before. I will be getting my car serviced here in the future after this interaction. Very impressed.

Mercedes Benz of Eugene delivers exceptional service! Shawn went above and beyond during my vehicle’s service! He also secured us with a fantastic loaner for the day. Their support for military members is commendable. Amazing customer service overall!

Jason was both extremely knowledgeable and helpful during our appointment. He took the time to answer our questions and even changed out the batteries on our fob. In a world where good customer service is hard to come by, Jason knocked it out of the park!

Britton was phenomenal with car details/ info., extremely professional, and provided superior customer service. Having had purchased a handful of vehicles, this was leaps and bounds in service and experience.

My blower for my heater went out the couldn’t get me in for a month. It’s October and getting cold and my kids and I have a long drive in the mornings. I stopped by to have my car cleaned and Sean was able to get me a loaner car and have my car checked out that same day. I was so excited and thankful it worked out. I really appreciate them.

THIS REVIEW IS ON THE MB-EUGENE DEALERSHIP, NOT THE CAR ITSELF (2019 C-CLASS).I GAVE MB-EUGENE 3 STARS BECAUSE I CONSIDER MY EXPERIENCES WITH THEIR EMPLOYEES IN JULY/AUGUST 2023 TO HAVE BEEN AVERAGE, OVERALL — NOT SIGNIFICANTLY ABOVE OR BELOW AVERAGE (EXCEPT FOR THE SERVICE ADVISOR WHO HAS CONSISTENTLY BEEN VERY HELPFUL). I SHOULD MENTION THAT I’VE BEEN DRIVING THE SAME CAR FOR 18 YEARS (ALSO A C-CLASS) SO I CAME TO THE DEALERSHIP WITH A LACK OF EXPERIENCE WITH MODERN VERSIONS OF MB CARS, AND OUT OF PRACTICE ON HOW TO ASSESS THE CONDITION OF A USED CAR (WHICH IS ESPECIALLY IMPORTANT IF ONE ISN’T TAKING THE CAR TO A MECHANIC FOR AN INDEPENDENT EVALUATION). ALSO, IT’S BEST TO FULLY UNDERSTAND THE CARFAX REPORT AS IT NOT ONLY PROVIDES INFO ON MAINTENANCE , ACCIDENTS, AND TITLES BUT IT ALSO INDICATES IF THE CAR WAS LEASED, AND/OR USED AS A DEMO.THE NEGOTIATIONS OVER PRICE WEREN’T UNPLEASANT. AFTER AGREEING ON A PRICE, I PAID FOR THE CAR THEN PICKED IT UP 3 DAYS AFTER NEGOTIATING. THE CAR HAD NOT BEEN WASHED BEFORE I TEST-DROVE IT. IT WAS WASHED PRIOR TO MY TAKING POSSESSION OF IT, AND WHEN I ARRIVED TO PICK IT UP I NOTICED A SMALL CRACK IN THE DRIVER’S SIDE OF THE WINDSHIELD AND A SCRATCH ON THE DRIVER’S DOOR (PROBABLY FROM BEING “KEYED”). THIS WAS DISAPPOINTING BUT ULTIMATELY I THINK IT WAS MY RESPONSIBILITY TO IDENTIFY THESE ITEMS BEFORE BUYING THE CAR. I RECOMMEND TO ANY READER WHO MIGHT BE BUYING A USED CAR: BE SURE IT’S WASHED BEFORE FINISHING YOUR EXAMINATION, FLAWS CAN BE HARDER TO DETECT DUE TO ACCUMULATED DUST/DIRT.10 DAYS AGO I CHECKED THE LABELING ON THE TIRES MORE CAREFULLY AND I FOUND THAT 1 OF THE TIRES IS DIFFERENT FROM THE OTHER 3 WITH REGARD TO SPEED/LOAD RATING AND WITH REGARD TO TREAD DESIGN (SUMMER VS. ALL-WEATHER). AS I FEEL IT’S THE DEALER’S RESPONSIBILITY TO PROVIDE 4 TIRES THAT ARE THE SAME ON A CAR WHICH THEY SELL, I ASKED MG-EUGENE TO REPLACE THE ODDBALL TIRE BUT I HAVEN’T RECEIVED A RESPONSE (NOW A WEEK AFTER MAKING THIS REQUEST).ANOTHER BIT OF ADVICE FOR USED CAR BUYERS: CHECK OUT THE CHECKLIST OF ITEMS THAT ARE CHECKED AND FIXED BY THE DEALER FOR A CAR WHICH IS “CERTIFIED PRE-OWNED” AKA “CPO”. THEY’RE COMPREHENSIVE AND I IMAGINE THAT HAVING THIS QA/QC MEASURE DONE CAN PRECLUDE OR POSTPONE MANY PROBLEMS. OF COURSE THE PRICE OF A CPO VEHICLE IS HIGHER … I’M SIMPLY RECOMMENDING THAT BUYERS REVIEW THE STANDARD CPO CHECKLIST IN ORDER TO HELP WITH EVALUATION OF WHETHER THE COST OF CPO IS WORTH IT TO THEM. AND KEEP IN MIND THAT BOTH CPO AND NON-CPO VEHICLES ARE AVAILABLE AT MULTIPLE MB DEALERSHIPS ALONG I-5 BETWEEN EUGENE AND PORTLAND.OF COURSE THE QUALITY OF THE CAR ITSELF IS FAR MORE IMPORTANT THAN THE QUALITY OF THE DEALERSHIP. I’VE ONLY DRIVEN THIS CAR ~500 MILES SO IT’S TOO EARLY TO TELL HOW IT’LL PAN OUT BUT SO FAR I FIND IT VERY COMFORTABLE, VERY SPEEDY, AND IT HANDLES WELL FOR A LUXURY CAR. AS MY TASTES ARE OLD-SCHOOL I DO THINK THE INSTRUMENTATION/CONTROL, MEDIA, LIGHTING OPTIONS, ETC. ARE MORE THAN I WANT OR NEED AND TO ME THE ENGINE SOUNDS RICKETY BUT THESE DAYS 4-CYLINDER ENGINES ARE NEARLY UBIQUITOUS IN ALL BUT VERY EXPENSIVE CARS, AND NEITHER OF THESE ISSUES MATTER MUCH. AS FOR CAR RELIABILITY, AGAIN THAT REMAINS TO BE SEEN BUT FORTUNATELY MB OFFERS A VERY COMPREHENSIVE AND FLEXIBLE EXTENDED WARRANTY AT A REASONABLE COST.

I was traveling on a 3 week road trip in my Sprinter van and had a mechanical issue while up in the mountains. Drove down to Eugene to try to get it resolved at the Mercedes dealership before heading to a family reunion. Based on my experiences at other Mercedes dealerships I did not have high hopes - man was I wrong. Jason, my service rep, took time out to listen and then squeeze me in so I could get to my family reunion. These guys were so good they even took care of a problem that I've had for a while and no one else could figure it out. I can't say enough good stuff about how I was treated by the guys at Mercedes Eugene. I don't normally write reviews but had to in this case. They saved my road trip, Rodney the shuttle driver was awesome and they even washed the van. Considering doing a 10 hour road trip to Eugene to get my next service. Any of you who had complaints about this dealership should try going to another dealership - you have no idea.Thanks again to Jason for getting me back on the roadMitch from California
