I’ve done very well there. The staff is (all around) so nice and DR BURKERT is the best, a very genuine kind human. Great place. He will Always be my back dr. And I seen and heard how well they ALL worked together with him and each other when I was getting my injection. Others seen it too. I highly recommend them. PS. Office side are super busy, can be slow getting back, I’m old and it took me a little time to realize they didn’t forget me. Sometimes older people were raised “NOW”. ???give them some space, they know your there?. Sincerely E.PS EVERYTHING turned out great?

I went here for a second opinion and was not impressed.Dr. Gallo seemed to have her mind made up long before entering the room just based on a6+month dated MRI and recent x-rays I didn't even get to see for myself. My symptoms are more related to soft tissue and specific motions than bone so x-rays are nearly pointless, but they explained they were to look for signs if instability... sorry not sorry but a still image doesn't guarantee accurate diagnosis of things that occur when in motion. She didn't perform any meaningful diagnostics to challenge her own preconceptions while I was present and willing yo cooperate and she was dismissive when I tried to explain symptoms that didn't add up.They were dismissive of any input I had and didn't have any insights on options to improve my condition.I'm fairly confident they are acquainted with the original doctor, therefore not without bias in that regard either.Overall, I feel I got nothing of value whatsoever from this appointment and the more i reflect on it the more I'm annoyed that payment is still expected when nothing of value was actually provided to show for it.I was really hoping for a doctor well informed on new innovations and treatments but feel like I got another who's let their PHD and past acclaim deafen them to their patients concerns and become apathetic to learning new treatment options.

This is an opinion of services provided for lumbar spinal decompression in 2021 by Dr Gallo. The primary goal may have been accomplished, however post op care in the days following was extremely lacking in my opinion. A dural leak occurred 36 hours after the operation, and it was eight hours after calling the surgery in daytime hours before a PA returned the call and instructed to remove the drain at home. Secondly, a stabilizer was placed between L3 L4. After some months, a variety of pains began occurring, but the reason was not determined until nearly two years later. The body was rejecting the implant, and scar tissue formed a tumor that encroached on the spinal cord. Outpatient procedure needs to be followed up with better care than Nuerospine provided.

This is Dr. Gallo's second attempt on my lower back, both have been epic fails. I have been off work for 7 weeks, without a return to work clearance. I came home from this surgery with staff infection which caused me to have to return to the DR's office twice (4hr round trip) for medication and follow-up. I have contacted the office 4 time and requested to speak with the doctor and have been unable to. The other person I have to deal with is the extremely rude front desk scheduler who this very day laughed at me when I told her that I needed to speak with the DR.I have spoken with my PCP who referred her as well as the Department of Veterans Affairs Community Care, I will not ever go back nor will I ever recommend this office to anyone.

I though Dr Gallo was a professional Neurosurgeon That what Neurospine institute medical center on 74 B Centennial loop in made her out to be a professional Neroand hired her I'm r glad I got a call from her office by her nurse the day before my surgery that Dr Gallo could not do my Back Surgery she didn't feel comfortable in doing my Back Surgery I have never been told by any professional Neurosurgeon that they were uncomfortable in doing my Back Surgery she should have never told me she could do my Back Surgry and then scheduled me for Back Surgery lf she could not do it why did she wait so long until the day that don't make nosense The before my surgery What Neurosurgeon waits until the day before surgery to tell a patient that they feel uncomfortable in doing Back Surgery I wouldn't trust or allow Dr.Gallo to do any surgery on me, family, friends or anyone

Not impressed with staff's incompetence as well as the lack of interest the doctors show when you explain that a staff member didn't follow doctor's order and send the PT order, causing husband to lose 6 weeks of therapy to help regain mobility caused from surgery complications.

Horrible aftercare I got infection in incision and they didn't return call. Had to go to the ER where they made appointment where I showed up and I was told I'd didn't have one. Have been on antibiotics for a week infection running out my back and they've yet to contact me. Don't go to doctor Gallow at nuerospine.

I had L5-S1 with Dr. Gallo on Dec 16th and the anesthesiologist was Adam. Adam was an absolute nightmare.Adam got me mixed up with another patient and while I was waiting for surgery and getting prepped kept asking me why I was late and swore up and down we had talked the day before about coming in earlier at 11:00am. I never got a call from him.I had missed a call while on my way from Anne, saying they were ahead of schedule and could probably get me in earlier than my 1230pm check in time, so to just come on in when I get there. She verbally instructed my husband and I also have a voice-mail on my phone saying this too.Adam decided right before surgery was a great time to argue and be rude to me about the timing of my arrival and how I was the last patient of the day.Dr. Gallo, Anne, Liz, and everyone else was wonderful and helped me so much.Adam just want to go home as early as he could and I clearly was an inconvenience to him. If I wasn't so nervous and in an anxiety fit over surgery, I would've fought back. He replied after I kept saying sorry," It is what it is."So if you see this Adam, I hope you watch what you say and realize before surgery is the most intense part of our lives. We could use someone caring not someone I'm worried will kill me, because he's having a moody day. In other words, GROW UP AND ACT YOUR PAY GRADE.

Avoid this place..I had a 10 A.M appointment with the doctor Gallo....after sitting in the reception area for over 25 minutes finally got into the room for my examination...after 20 minutes in the exam and not seeing anyone I put my shoes on and left it is now close to 11 A.M one hour after my scheduled appointment time....I walk out into reception area and the place is literally deserted..like everyone went to a early Lunch...completely Ridiculous place

I had S1L5 PLIF done with Dr Miller in July. I am very happy with his surgical skills and my scar is so small and pretty. He is a surgeon.. they are evaluating you from a mechanical view not a social emotional view. He is quick and to the point but my husband and I really enjoy talking with him. He truly does care just not going to coddle you.

I saw dr Miller the staff was friendly and my surgery was scheduled shortly after my consultation for a C4-5 disk replacement. Surgery went great extremely clean incision and heald nicely. I did find Dr. Miller to be a serious person not all jokes and takes his work very serious I did not find him to be all that warm but I was looking for a surgeon to fix my neck not a life coach to cheer me up or give me a pep talk.I recommend him 10/10Photos of my incision and healing after 3 weeks blends in with natural crease in neck minimal pain

Dr Miller didn't seem at all interested in trying to help me.I SUGGESTED possibly getting cortisone shots for my lower back. He agreed and would schedule appt . Waited 3 weeks no appt so called and very rude gal told me my insurance would not cover. She didn't even try because I would have received a response from my ins co. This place SUCKS

Dr gallo is too worried about her fake nails and high heels to really care about patients. Her staff are very unprofessional and unqualified to be i the positions they are. I would never trust my life with anyone dr gallo or her staff has any part in. She needs to go ballroom dance with her materialistic snobby self and give up the medical field.

Dr. Gallo did my neck fusion and it was a fine experience. However, the NeuroSpine office is a mess. I called it to see Dr. Gallo for neck pain (which Dr. Gallo has been managing for 20 years). They were not nice, they couldn't find my file and claimed that, since I haven't seen Dr. for 3 years, I need a referral. MRI also needs to be ordered by "another doctor." They insist it's "the office policy." My insurance doesn't require a referral. When I called my regular Dr. they (rightfully) told me it's my surgeon who has to order the MRI. My other option was to go to ER, during the pandemic, and spend hours in line (and $$$, although covered by my insurance) to have the ER order an MRI for the doctor I've been seeing for 20 years! If you want to deal with compassionate and understanding people, you better avoid this office.

All of the 5 star reviews are fake. If you’ve ever been here you know it. I had surgery there 6 months ago after waiting a year for surgery. I never saw the surgeon (Dr Miller) but once before surgery. After surgery I saw his PA who was rude, unhelpful and treated me like I was a drug addict. Never have I ever abused drugs. I’m in healthcare so I’m pretty forgiving for a lot that happens in clinics. Today they canceled my appointment on the 23rd (a week from now), told me to come in today at 3pm. The appointment was to go over the MRI I had done over a month ago. I came a half hour early. They called me back at 3pm and I waited in a room for an hour. Mind you the lobby was empty. No one said a word to me over this 90 minute wait. This is NEURO SURGERY. Find someplace else. This office is lazy and without empathy.
