Disgusting facility on all fronts. The staff is immature and rude. The facilities are dirty dirty dirty, it looks like there are small animals in the shower drains. The general manager worries about petty complaints from his staff instead of running the gym and keeping it clean. I would strongly advise against this gym, worst gym experience I've ever had!

It's a good gym, professional and welcoming staff, good equipment, and good amenities. The only downfall is that it's on the smaller side, and the janitorial team needs to step it up in the locker rooms. But all-around a good gym.

As others have stated this place is a NIGHTMARE to cancel with. I moved out of the area and have been trying for months to cancel. I originally had a membership with Elements and have at no point agreed to a contract with Oakway Fit. They will not answer the phone, emails, or attempts to contact via social media platforms. I am now forced to drive back to Eugene to attempt some resolution in person which is ridiculous. Beware. Do not use this gym.

This is a terrible gym. I thought it was pretty affordable at first since there is a pool, hot tub, sauna, and steam room as well as a gym but unfortunately all the facilities are always dirty and disgusting. The gym overall is always very crowded too. The pool lanes are often taken, the steam room is very gross and smelly and the sauna is usually very crowded. Most areas smell terrible, especially in the locker rooms, bathrooms, and showers. The photos I've seen on here don't do justice to how truly disgusting it all is.Be forewarned that the contract is no joke, and they will not accept cash payments or checks if you're not able to use a card. I was also told that if you stop going without cancelling officially and your payment stops going through, they will continue to rack up invoices and send it all to collections within 6 months time. Definitely not worth it in anyway shape or form. Greedy, corporate, gross. Steer clear!!

I am 72 years old and really didn't know what I was doing except that I had let myself go and needed help. I joined Oakway FIIT in Eugene Oregon and got 1 free weight lifting lesson with a trainer. That made such a difference, totally unexpected. I was blessed to be able to sign up for a long period. Ryan who is my trainer is incredibly good. I hope you can find your way there its really worth it!

Beware!!!! There’s a lot of negative reviews for a reason!First off, There are so many better gyms in Eugene than this place!!!!But Truck stops have cleaner bathrooms than this gym! The pool and spa is nasty, I would rather swim in the kiddie pool at splash. On top of it, Bad management and customer service. I would bet money on them not an answering the phone or calling you back any time of the day.MORE IMPORTANTLY….This place has changed its name and management over the years and thats always the 1st red flag.THERE’S GOOD NEWS THO!Your local rec centers are better than this place if you’re looking for a pool and gym. Pursue or even Planet fitness are better options if you’re just looking for a gym without a dirty spa. Take the 7 day trial and you’ll see for yourself.

Downright the nastiest looking and smelling gym I been in. Like how does it smell like the locker room a floor and a half up. Not to mention you have to pay money to leave and not smell the sweaty armpits when you decide to cancel the membership. Thanks for the enrollment fee, the charge per month, and the charge to leave. This buisness has no idea how to keep its customer but are experts at retaining odors.

BEWARE... THEY'LL KEEP CHARGING YOU THE MONTHLY FEE EVEN IF THEY CLOSE YOUR CHOSEN LOCATION. I was a member at the West Eugene location. With no notice, they shut down yet kept charging me. No advanced notification. No notification that I had to now go to the location on the other side of town...When I realized what was going on, they advised that "my membership was moved to another location"... a location that was inconvenient for me and by the time I could get the membership cancelled, they continued to charge me. JUST BE AWARE.

DO NOT JOIN THIS GYM. It has been run into the ground and become a fraudulent place. Do you want your money stolen at too small of a gym that isn’t cleaned at all? Then Oakway Fitness is for you. Steer clear and go somewhere else

Friendly staff... relaxed atmosphere and a variety of machines and activities for every fitness level make this not your typical gym. Centrally located and close to hiways... Individual and group work outs available... Stop by and check them out!

They will gladly take your money. Good luck trying to cancel your membership. I was told that is all i had to do was call and cancel, now they hang up on me when I ask to cancel or for anyone that I can talk to about it. I am now forced to contact the BBB and reverse all charges from this horrible company. As for the gym, it is in constant construction. The layout and "new" showers are horrible. The pool is never clean and the equipment and pads on the equipment is in poor condition. The weight machine choices are very poor as well as the free weight selection. I am giving them a 1 star because I can't give them zero stars.

Gym doesn’t have any special features besides swimming pool and hot tub. You can literally pay the same amount (or less depending on how often you go) for a gym membership with Eugene Rec (Echo hollow pool, Sheldon, Amazon, etc) which one pass is good for all those locations and some have gym and pool. The layout of the elements gym isn’t the best and they aren’t really good about informing members about activity or gym changes.

Equipment is old. There’s an annual fee and sign up fee for what? Also when you cancel your membership make sure you plan it ahead. Otherwise they’ll charge another month fee because you need notify them 1 month in advance.Question is what justifies that one month advance notification? Are they losing something if you don’t go another month?Feels more like another way to squire money out of members

After Elements West abruptly closing their doors with no notice to its members in June we found out through social media that our only options were to cancel our memberships or start going to the renamed Oakway Fiit. We choose to cancel our memberships which per their requirements we went in, in person in June and canceled. Thinking it was handled we went on with our lives until through credit monitoring we noticed they were still billing us. So in August we went back in, in person and spoke with the manager Wayne who assured us our memberships were canceled and that he put notes in the system. When we asked Wayne for a refund we were refused and said only corporate can do that and he gave us a email address, when we asked for a number Wayne informed us that he did not even have one for them. So taking our lumps we left fast forward to September and guess what they charged us again, 3 months of charges after cancelation I have a hard time believing we are the only ones subjected to this fraud, now my only recourse is to contact my bank and report it, file a claim with the BBB and possibly file a lawsuit for fraudulent charges, report it to the Attorney General and FBI fraud dept.
