Staff were very helpful and friendly trying to help me find what I needed. I had the number of my printer wrong but they helped me try to find correct number and they were prompt to get my order out to me when I went home and ordered ink by correct number and came back to pick up!

That was quite a pendulum swing-- from years of amateur hour staff to the new militaristic boot camp staff. The new store manager comes off as an ex-cop who was drummed off the force for too many excessive force complaints, is firmly convinced everyone in the world is a criminal that he needs to personally root out, and he can do it by playing 'bad cop' to everyone walking through the door. His overly-aggressive behavior towards customers today makes clear that the new company strategy is to run customers off. While I was being chastised during checkout for daring to speak, another would-be customer was neck-craining with "toes on the line" looking at the ink cartridges. Your drill Sargent, without even making eye contact, nastily blurted out "I can't have you behind my counter" (a gross distortion of reality to begin with since no reasonable person would have described her as "behind [his] counter." She hoped to interject some sanity into the attack by saying she was trying to see if the cartridges she needed were in stock before waiting in (the _5_ deep) line. None of that mattered to Captain Rulebook, so she left... probably forever, to buy her high-margin ink elsewhere. But, your team 'won' the battle, and successfully staved off the attack on your new "all customers are bad" culture. Be proud of what your new management has created here-- I know Amazon is.

The only reason I'm giving the store 2 stars is because the cashier and ONE employee on the floor were courteous and professional. I came in to buy a work table. I wandered around looking for help and ultimately found a very reluctant employee. His answer to my question about the electrical components (not working on floor model) was basically a shrug and "call the manufacturer." Super rude. Super unfriendly. I went to Eugene store and got better help but now having issues with delivery. I won't be making any more purchases with Office Depot - in person or on-line.

I had excellent service from several employees and the product I needed was in stock. The price was a bit stiff but the store gave me opportunity to see the product and to immediately buy and use it.

At my visit to the Eugene Office Depot I was helped right away to find what I wanted - a Dr. Grip pen. The staff I spoke to were friendly and helpful.

Don't get things shipped to your house. It will not arrive when promised. The tracker for the shipping company is useless and updates every few days instead of at the time of the event/change. My next day shipping item still hasn't arrived and it has been four days already.The people are nice in store and they do genuinely try to be helpful but they don't have any control over this. I know the higher ends of the management chain may see this so the star score is strictly to reflect the shipping fiasco, not the customer service. Fix your shipping or at least reflect ACCURATE shipping times.

I was having issues with my store purchasing card for printing. Enrique was super patient and helped me print on the spot. I had to order online to send to store in order for my discount to come though for my corporate card. I accidentally sent it to my Office Depot near my house versus the Eugene location. Enrique said it was no issue, he took my info down, personally called the other store and had it transferred to him to complete the job! Customer service here is great!

I work that office Depot for 5 months from January until May and my entire time working there I got along with everyone except the manager whose name is Thomas kurst am I honest opinion he's a piece of s*** I don't like him I don't respect him I never have and I never will and the reasons why are: . He threatened to fire me four times directly to my face and his office . He talks s*** about me under his breath behind my back to the other employees and managers He told me directly into my face that if him and I were at Applebee's he would have fired me And lastly he tried to steal my debit card when I wasn't looking but I turned my head and saw him caught him red-handed and he took his finger off my card and walked away like he wasn't doing anything wrong.
