I have a love/hate relationship with the Quest. The wait times and staff ratios are usually awful, and I hate the check in machines with no staff out front.
The phlebotomists are always super nice however. Wanted to give a shout out to the woman who made sure we got my fasting blood drawn in before 9 am today. I wish this company provided support staff to their hard working techs.

This place is the worst. Long wait times. Show up 30 minutes after your appointment and maybe you will only wait an hour WITH AN APPOINTMENT. Forget about walk ins.

Aja is among the most tone deaf healthcare workers:
-acted like I knew what to do and where to go in a big room with little instruction
-commented on how many vowels are in my name
-told me her opinions on my health based on age
-told me I would be slapped
with a hefty bill later
-told me her opinions on fasting vs. not fasting and speculating why I was getting labs done
-told me about her ailments and how she was in pain when she realized I needed labs for medical school
-asked me what I would be studying after I didn't show interest in her ailments
-told her I was uncomfortable and would like to get this over with.
She said interesting.
Separately, these would have been forgettable actions, but together, in a five-minute conversation, Aja is insufferable and unprofessional.
The only thing she did right was pass me off to someone else without making me wait around all day.

I hate Quest! It took going there three times after making 3 appointments to finally get in and get served. The people are always awesome, your system sucks. This was my third time to get a draw. It took two trips the first time, then two the next time, then 3 this time. Horrible stats.

If you call - even from the parking lot - you can get an appointment basically right away! It does make the ppl who are sitting there waiting look like you just walked in and got called, tho. Kinda pisses them of tbh

Staff are rude. They will spend more time talking to patients about rescheduling vs taking patients back to complete lab orders. State the consistently run 1 hour behind.

The Phlebotomist seemed over worked. I am a union guy and the phlebotomist did a great job but she seemed to have been trained to "get 'em in get 'em out" I believe whenever i go to any healthcare professional I expect a little care. I felt like I was in a factory and I was just a piece of metal on a conveyor belt.
It feels like stock holders or CEOs are making money at the expense of workers and the customers.

Quest Diagnostics is very good at what they do. The Hilyard location where I go is excellent. Always clean and everyone is friendly and courteous. The best way to get in is to get an appointment which is on line. The only issue I have is trying to call them by phone.

Roger did my bloodwork and was extremely nice and understanding. If you come in without an appointment, expect to wait some time but I got there first thing in the morning and only waited about 30 minutes. I’ve been here a couple of times and while the wait is frustrating the people have always been kind. Thanks Roger!

I was a walk in and the wait time was about 45 minutes; I also needed xrays, so I checked in at the kiosk, went upstairs for xrays and came back; only had to wait about 10 minutes, so the timing was quite reasonable!
