I’ve had multiple great experiences here in the past 2 years. The phlebotomists are kind and quick with their work. I have awful reactions to getting blood taken and when I share that info before I get my labs done they are understanding and often give me an ice pack to help with the anxiety. I’ve fainted before and it was embarrassing but the phlebotomist was wonderful to me despite the circumstances. I like that the stations have a whiteboard with information about them, it helps distract me as I despise getting my blood drawn.

Understaffed and overworked location. My appointment was 1 hour delayed. Multiple patients had difficulty with check ins, sampling drop off. Requires another 1 hour appointment just to drop specimens off? Horrible experience

I don't understand why quest lab doesn't have a front desk person anymore. I came in with a time sensitive/ frozen sample, all I need to do is drop it off, which used to take a couple minutes. They have me waiting an hour and a half for an appointment. I'M JUST DROPPING OFF POOP!!! I don't need a damn appointment! Covid is over. BRING BACK CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! The barger location needs to get it together. I'll be taking my business elsewhere from now on. They are not the only lab company in town.

The Barger Quest location is the best lab draw location in the Eugene Springfield area. I live in Springfield, but I now go all the way out to the Barger location because of the professionalism of the staff. The way they work shows that they care about their job and their patients.
I am a tough draw. Techs often have difficulties getting my lab draws successfully. On this visit, when one tech (who was super nice, she has a station right next to Adam, I wish I had gotten her name) couldn't get my blood, she got her coworker to try. She stayed right with him and assisted with the draw. I was so impressed with how well they worked together. Adam, especially, went above and beyond. The lab has a 3 poke limit, and we hit that, but Adam invited me back the next day to be the 1st patient, and he would try again. In the morning, he was successful the 1st try.
On a previous lab draw a few months ago, I had the pleasure of seeing this duo in action. They were great then too. This is why I drive all the way from Springfield to get lab draws done by them.

The only thing I would like is that the flob. tech let us know that if we can't pee we can get a specimen cup to bring in a sample.

They should NOT advertise they accept walk-ins. I showed up 10 minutes before they opened and was told it would be about a 2 hour wait. What?!? I hadn’t eaten all morning and had to go to work. The guy says I shouldn’t have gone to their busiest location. He was rude and acted like I should know such things. I live in Florence and don’t always know which day I have to come to Eugene to work. I wish there was another choice other than Quest, but it is the only lab nearby that my insurance covers.

They told me to bring in my stuff but then chose not to be open on May 27th. That’s when I had time to bring it in. Guess they don’t want to run the test ?♂️
