I was there on Tuesday around 11:30 and there were people without masks(no one said anything to them) and very little social distancing. The person checking out in front of me wore no mask and cashier said nothing. After over 600 cases from the holiday weekend in Lane county, this store is not safe. I will not be back.

I got into a confrontation with another customer, because I told them they were going the wrong way, as they walked over a directional arrow. I felt very unsafe in this store. Many customers were walking the wrong direction. Some customers were not wearing a face mask. Both customers and employees were not following social distancing guidelines/rules.

Tried to visit Safeway during the two hours supposedly reserved for immunocompromised, pregnant, elderly or otherwise high risk shoppers beginning at 7 am on Tuesday after seeing this available online and even calling to verify whether it was being enforced. No signs up, no employees at the door, no one asking any questions of those coming into the store, no extra employees sanitizing or reminding about social distancing, and the store was crawling with people. I expressed concern to a woman in the office only to be told essentially that it's not their job to enforce this and everyone else is trying to avoid infection too, so basically just deal with it. No apologies, no compassion, no open-mindedness to improve this situation...nothing but excuses and shirking of responsibility. I left there so angry and disappointed and spent my money at another store that was willing to be responsible to the community they are here to serve. Not sure I'll ever be back here.
