Regal Valley River Center offers a movie experience that varies by visit. Visitors appreciate the opportunity to see movies on the big screen, including IMAX, which provides a unique viewing experience. The theater features fresh popcorn and cold drinks, contributing to a classic movie outing. However, some find the seating tight and note that prices are higher compared to other theaters, such as Cinemark in Springfield, making it less cost-effective for some. The theater's ambiance can be affected by issues like projector distractions or the inability to sit in pre-paid seats when others refuse to move. While the mall area has seen many stores close over the years, the overall movie experience remains enjoyable for many, especially when sharing favorite films like Pride and Prejudice or superhero movies. Despite some negative points, Regal Valley River Center continues to be a place where memories are made, offering a mix of good moments and areas for improvement.
Ok it's expensive. Let's get that out of the way. $20 per ticket, $40 for popcorn and soda. The seats were a bit tight too. That's the only negative thing I have to say.
It was fun to go to an IMAX movie. We saw Superman. Popcorn was fresh. Pepsi was on point.

I was the only person in the theater. It was surreal.
