Can this Rite Aid please just close already and let something else take its place?? It is such a waste of a large store. The place is literally almost empty… they have no inventory… it really sucks to have a drugstore in the neighborhood that is practically empty but for some reason still open and hanging by thread. I will never understand it.. it’s been months and months of empty shelves.. barely hanging on. I have asked an employee why this is and they responded rudely like they didn’t understand why I would even ask. It’s just all so strange… this Rite Aid is EMPTY.. don’t go here if you need practically anything.

Rite Aid Pharmacy 55 W 29th in Eug has been my go to pharmacy for medicines. The staff are friendly from Howdy in the 1990's, 2000's amd 2010's to Isaiah in 2024 forward, they hire right.
The pharmacist is good amd quick and the hours are plentiful. It helps when the drive thru window is open.
Plus if u go in after the holidays, collect ur items at the 50%

Not going to bother coming here anymore. Shelves have been barren for a couple of years now and when I finally inquired as to if they were closing the person that rang me up was super rude.

I waited in line 45 minutes for them to tell me my prescription was not ready & they asked me when would I like to pick it up. Obviously right now. I called 3 hours ago to ask for it to be ready but no one answered the phone.

Horrible. We are changing pharmacies. Ignored my husband at the window with my sick child, they went inside and he ended up throwing up while they were waiting. I'm not blaming the staff per se, but they really suck if you are considering a pharmacy. Go somewhere else. Safeway is nearby.

I was on hold for 3 hours. 2 of those hours, I was told “you’re caller number 1”. So either the machine is messed up or they just genuinely don’t answer their phone. I ended up switching to another rite aid, they picked up in seconds.

I waited over an hour to speak with the pharmacy. When I called on another phone and asked to talk with a person about my prescription (again, after waiting over 75 minutes on hold), I was told there was nothing they could do and I could only be transferred back. It's ridiculous to make people wait over an hour to talk with someone for a two minute conversation. All because they were "busy".

I think this pharmacy is actually hell on earth. I don’t believe in heaven or hell but if I did I think this pharmacy would be the picture definition. Terrible. I can’t even describe how terrible and incompetent the service is.

Drive up window needs to not close with people in line. Otherwise it is not a bad place... People are nice.
As instructed I contacted the customer service department, and got an actual person to discuss my concern with. The person listened, and it appears took corrective action. The next time I went to the pharmacy things appeared better... The drive up window was open, and the line was moving forward.

No star seems more appropriate. I have never had a good experience at this pharmacy. They are always understaffed and have to close the pharmacy everyday for lunch. This company has made it clear that they would rather shut down than provide employees with appropriate compensation. Good luck.

The pharmacy will never answer the phone. I spent half an hour listening to a phone ringing trying to ask what would be a three minute question.
I will now have to waste an entire day getting there and back home because they can't be bothered to engage in BASIC customer service.

Pharmacy consistently slow, rude, and incompetent. I have had prescriptions go unfilled for weeks, been given misinformation regarding insurance, and misinformation about the availability of medications and refill dates. It’s impossible to reach the pharmacy by phone, the drive-thru is almost always closed and the line in the store is prohibitively long. What are elderly or disabled people supposed to do? This is a horrible pharmacy! You are dispensing life-saving medications—get it together, please.

Tried to get a COVID vaccine in 2024, tried to do walk in but was told I had to make an appointment online. Made an appointment online, came back a few days later for the appt, was told that they "don't do vaccines after five" even though my appt was for 6 and apparently this regularly happens to other customers as well. So frustrating.
