Ruby Porter did not deliver what was promised. Instead of creating the website that was discussed by their top designer they hired a rookie who after three months had a pitiful outline. None of the information discussed was in this new staff persons outline. I had paid them their fee upfront with the understanding that it was a package price for the design and launching of my website. In the fine print it states they will be charging additional for their design work. This added up to far more than the original agreed upon price. After seeing their bills and outline from someone who was not qualified to do this work I disengaged services. I was assured that the last invoice for $550 would be waived. Six months later I received a letter from a collection company asking for payment on the invoice. There had been no other invoices sent from the company itself. I do business all over Lane County and have never received such poor service, poor communication and poor results.

We are a small veteran owned business. We hired Ruby Porter for an advertisement for the readers choice awards. I've never used them before, but I had heard so many great things about them and their work.The communication was impeccable, quick and prompt. They were receptive to feedback, and you could tell they were routing for us and our business.They were transparent and clear on their objectives. I would hire them again. Started a construction company recently and Ruby Porter was able to get me a logo, branding, and website fast! I love the design the came up with and look forward to the next step of social media marketing...can't wait to see what they come up with.Be sure to tell them Bob sent you!

They promised to help me expand our women-owned small business. We are ethical and make sure our own customers get real value.The employee who took my account at Ruby Porter left the company and, although there was not much communication before, recently there is none.Worst of all, when I wrote to the owner, Robert Steck, merely asking for a report or some evidence that they were doing something for the monthly fees, he replied me it would be best to terminate the relationship BUT that he would force us to pay thousands of dollars to terminate.This guy does not care at all about my company OR getting real results for those from whom he accepts monthly fees. I intend to warn other businesses by writing this review.Given my experience, I would guess that there are false reviews posted by this online marketing company.

Owner Robert Steck decided to cancel our contract when I wrote asking for more communication from the company so I'd know anything was actually being He decided my request for communication was a request for termination and sent invoices for $3000 worth of future months of service for contract breakage No results, very poor communication, no accountability and apparently dishonest business practices.
