I would leave zero stars if I could. Pharmacist was very rude and acted like they didn’t want to fill medication for a veterinary patient. It took almost a week to get them to fill it per the doctor’s request. Pharmacist acted like they knew more than the provider. I’m glad the pet is finally taken care of but would not recommend this pharmacy to anyone.

I frequently pick up Rx. I have never been there when they haven't been busy. Always either have or can get answers if I have questions. If no questions, they are very quick getting my Rx. and checking me out. I try to be prepared when I get to the counter so as not to hold up the person behind me.

Rude cashier, only one they have working..ever! Made shopping there a chore! Don't shop there anymore! Also too many expired dates! They gave up a long time ago!

The big corporation that oversees Safeway and Albertson's is Cerberus. Safeway tanked under its dominion. Shelves were messed up. Experienced, helpful workers were made to take orders from people who could barely think. It was a tragedy. The experienced old hands who have held on, even through the pandemic, are just great people, great checkers, great workers. The pharmacy is just like Albertson's. The people work hard, and can be helpful, but the system they use is just terrible. Safeway's ads are also a mess and have grown worse. It is not easy to use your phone with the digital ads. The prices in the flyers are ridiculous--and often less in the store itself. You never know what kind of bag you are going to get, but this Safeway seems to be at the back of the line when it comes to getting bags with handles. Recently the lines have been very long, and it takes some action to get checkers. But this seems to come and go. Overall, I like the place.

Shopping should not be stressful but each time I come to this Safeway it has always been stressful. The lines are always long and at night there are often just one cashier. The shelves are often empty and despite asking the manager to please order more of a particular item I buy regularly, it was never carried through. Try going there on a Friday night and the bakery is wiped cleared of any bagels. What the hell is going on with this store? One cashier named Rachel was useless. When She offered to check with the manager, she would go away for 30 minutes and never came back. I attributed it to being overworked and lack of attention to detail. But still, that's pretty damn disrespectful. I will look for another Safeway to go to from now on. This one seems to be the black sheep in the Safeway family or something. The other ones seem to have better selection, fresher produce, better customer service and never a super long line. I hope corporate sees this and will do make the necessary changes. It's really a shame because it's a convenient location. Just horrible experience is enough to drive people away.

Tried to get an appointment for second covid vaccine...pressed the submit button and nothing popped up. Called and told them would not return calls on any covid related vaccines. So what's the point of putting anything covid related info on a website on the first place? No service...no info.

I noticed that the comments are uniformly negative regarding the staff working in the pharmacy. I am friends with all of the staff and they know me by name as I know all of them by name. I find them to be nice and always willing to say hello even as they are swamped with work. They are part of my community and I am glad that they are there soldiering on during these difficult times.

I'm not sure what her name is, but there is one staff member that I dread interacting with. She is NEVER friendly in the slightest, and seems like she hates her job. I called in to ask a simple question about a medication that I was prescribed when I visited the ER. I occasionally like to have a beer or two, and wanted to know when it would be safe to do so after stopping the medication. She then very rudely told me how I should never mix that medication with alcohol, and how she could not tell me when it would be ok to have a drink again. I NEVER SAID THAT I WANTED TO MIX THEM. After refrasing the question multiple times she finally said 2-3 days and I should be fine. I have never experienced such horrible customer service!??
