Came in to ask a few questions, incredibly rude and dismissive. The lady at the front desk should take a moment to hear how she speaks to people trying to give her money for the job they are there to do. If you want a big attitude, you know where to find it, front desk.

I’ve taken my Honda civic and Fit here for nearly 2 decades and they always do an excellent job! Would highly recommend Sandpiper.

Brought my car here to be looked over a few months ago after noticing the e-brake was very loose and not working well at all, as well as wanting an inspection done since I just bought the vehicle.
They said they tightened the e brake, which still was loose leaving me unable to park on hills at all.
An older woman who worked there also snarked about how my car looked like it was worked on by a ‘backyard mechanic’ and that she wouldn’t have purchased it. She did not explain at all what she meant by that. I’m unsure if she was even a mechanic or technician.
Well, after my e brake was still not working and I started to notice a wobble and looseness in steering once driving over 70mph. I brought it back and asked them to fully replace the e brake cable and to diagnose the wobbles.
I was told, I shit you not, that I must not have an understanding of how I-5 has grooves in it and my car must just be the perfect width of those grooves and that is where the wobble came from, and that my brake was fine and I must not be pulling it up all the way up.
To say I was flabbergasted to be gas lit into believing my loose steering and wobble was not a car issue but a road issue is an understatement. Absolutely wild.
Anyways since they were too lazy to actually do any sort of diagnostic besides telling me my car was fine I grabbed my keys and dipped, only to have found out my brake was shot, I had a bent rim, and my tires needed balancing.
I’d avoid at all cost, to say the least.

Honest mechanics, no upselling and willing to answer questions about service. They use OEM parts, great communication and very educated . In my opinion - best shop in eugene -

Super disappointed. I spent $135 to have my car towed there only for them to say the mechanic didn’t “want to work on a problem car.” Never heard of an auto shop not “wanting to” do their job… wouldn’t even test drive it because it had a damaged seatbelt.
Next auto shop helped me no problems. Gladly spend my money elsewhere that does what they advertise.

Honestly very disappointed in this shop. I have brought my car here since I moved to Eugene a year ago and they provided good service. Guy at the front desk was super nice and honest. Now, I have an issue with my car and they said they won’t even look at it. They told me to wait until my car can’t start again and the check engine light turns on…only then will they look at it…Called another shop in the area and they didn’t hesitate to get me in to diagnose the issue. I expected more from a place whose job it is to diagnose problems for cars. Definitely lost a customer.

The folks that work here seem like genuinely good people. We have been bringing our Toyota and Honda cars here for over 15 years and have been happy the the service from Sandpiper every time.

I've been taking Honda here for years and have only had good experiences. (And unfortunately I've had to bring my car in several times lately for unrelated reasons--a broken side mirror, an acceleration issue, a faulty A/C system.) They are quick with their service and do a good job, they are honest, and their prices are fair. I find they are kind and explain things to me patiently and thoroughly. I also feel good supporting this family-owned and family-run business. I have also heard they provide good pay and benefits to their employees. My only complaint is their limited hours, but if it allows them to stay open, I support it!

The best mechanic in town. Not the cheapest but you can trust them and they do great work. There's a reason many of their customers have been going there for over 3 decades.
