It's overall a place to get help but the food is subpar it won't help people become healthier or take care of themselves better. If food is donated to this location it's not guaranteed to be served. The staff wastes time and delivers poor results. I like the staff as people but they are not doing their job.

St. Vincent De paul has been there for my husband and I when we desperately needed them. More times than I can count on both hands has St Vincent DePaul been there with a warm and safe place for us to go when we were sleeping outside and it wasn't safe anymore due to inclement weather or something serious was going on and we needed to shelter in place. The various programs that we've been a part of, have helped us to develop lifelong friendships with people who are in the same situation and have been there for us for many many years. Today, there not just our friends, but our family. Most of the staff members are very motivated to help us with pretty much anything we need.I thank God for bringing angels like them into our lives. They continue to help us in so many ways.God Bless you all ?

Liars and swindlers. Workers at SVdP are there to collect a paycheck, not help the homeless. Don't be fooled like I was — "Christian" non-profit groups like the St. Vincent de Paul Society are in it for the money. They can afford to house the homeless, and yet they'd rather keep us in squalid shelters where we can exploited and monetized for their own profit. Teresa and Angie were the only people that I met who seemed to care at all.Jesus wept.

Totally corrupted. Stay away from these people. A mother had her daughters ashes taken away from her for no reason at all and they dumped them out and then sold the urn in one their stores. EVIL.

Having an extremely hard time reaching them about the housing assessments they gave me. Unable to get connected with anyone. They made an appointment with me and said they'd call me for it but never did and when I called them they didn't know who I was.

This agency is a complete joke and a major waste of time. Was on housing waiting list. But they did away with the list and failed to notify me. Better off on your own than these Catholic hypocrites.

I am very fond of the idea that all the proceeds from the thrift stores go into funding the programs the St. Vinnys runs.

no Other organization in the state invests the resources and services to thr most in need population. the center offers a fair and and dignified method of service to address the needs of individuals wnd families as long as they abide to rules and respect the rights of other clients and staff as well as volunteers. others may not agree but its usually due to entitlmemt issues

These people are supposed to be for LOW INCOME housing. Yet you have to pay $45 every time you apply if it's been over 90 days and when they call you to apply it usually takes 90 days for the place to be move in ready. Then you get to pay the fee again. Thats if they dont call you and say "actually someone was ahead of you" like they did to me the first time (have been trying to get in for 3 years). That's cool I just wasted $45. The rent is not subsidized either so if you lose your job you just get evicted and then the best part is, you have 3 days to come up with the move in costs. THREE DAYS. What kind of place for LOW INCOME PEOPLE gives you 3 days to come up with move in costs when they make you wait 4 months while they are getting it ready and cant even give you any kind of time estimate? I have to come up with $1000 in 3 days. And their income limits for approval are so low with myself and my son I cant even take home more than $1400 a month, MAXIMUM or I am over income. It's a joke. I dont know how anyone gets in here and if you can come up with that money in 3 days you're lying about your income somewhere because people who truly meet their income limits cant come up with that kind of money in 3 days unless they got income coming in somewhere that isnt reported or have no bills.
