I bought some Bose 601e’s here 23 years ago. They had just been re-coned and serviced by the owner. I was going through some old paperwork and found the receipt and figured I should let you know they are still working, still sound great, and I’m still happy with my purchase. I wouldn’t hesitate to make another purchase or use this shop for repair. I’m glad you’re still doing what you love all these years later.

Took in my Musical Fidelity A3.2 Dual Mono Integrated Amplifier for a volume nob fix and it turned out extremely clean and smooth. There is a wait time but it has been well worth it the 2 times I have used his services.

If you have some gear needing a repair or tune up Kevin is your guy. He does great work at reasonable prices. He helps keep electronics out the landfill, and is a high end tube amplifier specialist . Also there is usually a nice selection of quality used gear available.

This review is late incoming, but better late than never. Kevin went through my Marantz 2238 receiver which over time, I suppose began to drop output from one channel. Additionally, the old incandescent lights which lit up the dial window weren't working as they shouls. The repair was made in September 2019. It was done in relatively very good time (considering he is a one man operation with plenty of work, apparently) and also Kevin replaced the old dial indicator lightbulbs with LED's. Receiver works perfectly after more than two years since the repairs were made. I couldn't be happier.

Great shop, very friendly. knowledgeable owner. Brought my Akai CS-F14 cassette deck in for repairs. Not only was my problem fixed, but also fixed a couple minor issues including one that I hadn't even noticed. Very friendly pricing and good work. It now works as good as it did when it first rolled of the line in the 80s. 10/10, will definitely return when I need more work done. If you rock vintage audio equipment, this is your place.

A gem of a shop .I built a Dynaco VTA ST-120 tube amp in 2011.I started having fuse issues. Kevin explained the issue was simply a matter of tube sockets .I was rolling tubes and It has been flawless since I learned .Excellent service excellent .I also bought a McIntosh pre amp .Klipsch LaScalla. JBL 2245H .2) st-70 early 60s tube amps. Thx Kevin !!!

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!! I sent in my Marantz 2325 to be restored. The guy immediately tried to tell me that I didn't need new caps and he would test and replace what was bad. I wanted a full restoration. but apparently this is beyond his capability's. I waited 8 months and paid $800 + shipping both ways and it blew after 5 minuets. I called and he said it was probably a fuse.......Really A******* After removing the cover and opening the unit up I was horrified to see the shoddy soldering hack job that was done on my valuable unit. He screwed up my right side amp, the cleaning he charged for didn't happen, he didn't replace any of the common caps that a forty year old Marantz needs. I was ripped off and knew it, I'd learn and do it myself before I ever called this thief again. Beware ....THIS BUSINESS IS INCOPETA NT!!

Nobody would touch my ancient B&O receiver, I’d called at least four highly recommended shops in Portland and they all politely declined my business. I’m pretty sure Kevin didn’t want to touch it either, he said the same things the other guys had: no parts, no company support, tiny pain in the butt innards, but you know what? He fixed it! The Beomaster lives!Go here to get your sh*t fixed.

My vintage stereo works better than when I originally got it but probably not the place if you need your stereo fixed ASAP.

A nice little shop that does quality work on stereo equipment. Best in town by far I wouldn't go anywhere else with any of my equipment. Friendly service and fast enough.
