Debbie has taken care of both my business and personal taxes for 20+ years. She has been extremely trustworthy and professional. She has integrity and an incredible understanding of not only the tax code, but all of the implications for businesses and individuals. There have been many years where I have not been nearly as prepared as I should’ve been, and she always works with me too get my taxes complete and on time. She has been such a lifesaver! Debbie at Sullivan Tax Service has been a lifesaver for us for almost 20 years now. She listens to our concerns and questions and has always had wonderful advice. We have entrusted Debbie to do the taxes for us personally and our 3 businesses we own. Debbie has always been available to answer questions that come up throughout the year and has met with us many times when we needed her to be available for consultations regarding our trust, our investment accounts and our real estate transactions. Debbie brings something to the table that most other companies cannot provide… She grew up in the business, helping her father and learning from a very young age about this field. Debbie went on to purchase the business from her father and now has passed on this generational knowledge to her young adult children. I am a licensed clinical social worker and mental health professional in Eugene, Oregon. I was referred to Debbie and her team through those who had positive experiences. Initially, I was pleased with the connection, and I appreciated the knowledge and support. However, I had a much different experience filing my 2024 taxes. I sent Debbie emails that were not read in full and became redundant bouts of attempted communication that never got resolved. Her bookkeeper, Dave, was asked on multiple occasions throughout 2024 to adjust my withholding to align with quarterly taxes, yet he never made the adjustment. When filling out a safe harbor form to substantiate designation as an s-corp, it took Debbie FOUR separate corrections to enter my address correctly, and she only changed this information because of my diligence to catch her mistake FOUR times. Upon sharing my concern about the challenges I was having, I was met with negativity and “victim blaming.” Because of this, I chose to terminate services, and I received an email stating the amount I owed “immediately “ rather than an attempt to reconcile the negligence of business practices. I cannot stress enough the importance of finding a different service, especially if you are self-employed. I have never been treated so poorly, and I have never left any negative reviews for any agency besides this one, which should lament the depth of negative impact (financially and emotionally) that this entire agency has caused.

Debbie Sullivan has been doing our personal and business taxes for nearly 10 years. Last year she also completed the Estate Taxes for my late father’s Trust. Debbie is knowledgeable, ethical, intuitive, and easy to communicate with. She has helped our business grow by maximizing tax breaks and minimizing liabilities and she shares changes in tax laws and explains how they impact us. The fees for services have been very fair too. We appreciate our long-standing relationship with Debbie and her team. We call them year-round with tax related questions and they are quick to respond. With more than 30 years of doing my taxes I have received nothing but excellent service and timely returns from Sullivan tax services. They have gone above and beyond to help me with my tax returns. I had the unfortunate summons for a tax audit which was made so much easier with Sullivan tax service beside me every step of the process, making it a seamless process. My husband and I have been using Sullivan Tax Service for the last eight years. Debbie Sullivan and her team took the time to understand our specific needs, answered all of our questions, and made the entire tax filing process smooth and stress-free. She even walked us through seeing what our taxes would be if we filed married or separately as I have student loan obligations to help us maximize our return.
