The Shedd helped us organize a celebration of life for my father. Shannon and Ginevra were fabulous! They guided our menu choices, made suggestions about the program and helped us find an amazing singer. The entire staff was kind and thoughtful and helped us create a truly memorable day.

We attended a Celebration of Life at The Shedd this last weekend and the staff and facilities were amazing. Such attention to all details and the food was awesome also. Well done everyone !!!

We attended a Celebration of Life held at The Shedd last weekend and the staff knocked it out of park. Along with the beautiful theater, easy parking and management that all went out of their way for the event. Well done !!!
The John G. Shedd Institute for the Arts (or The Shedd Institute, and locally known simply as The Shedd), is a performing arts company, cultural arts center, and community music school. The Shedd has three performance venues, various community meeting rooms, and extensive music education facilities. It presents annually an array of culturally diverse festivals, concert series and educational programs that focus on, but are not limited to, American music.
