Tried to call for over two hours to see if an antibiotoc was called in. I finally gave up and drove in. I asked why they did not answer the phone and the pharmacists answers "who answers the phone these days" I was told I had to come in to the store to fill the prescription. While I was waiting the phone rang. A tech looked at the number and said the name and pharmacist shook his head. I asked to speak to a manager who said she could do nothing about pharmacy. After waiting over an hour I was told I had to go to River road because they could not fill my prescription. I told the tech who said to come in the store and wait an hour she should be fired and attempted to leave the store. The pharmacy manager ran after me as if she was going to assault me. I turned around to face her and she told the tech to call the police and report I was combative. I left the store once she finally backed off from me and called the police myself. They refused to come if I was not in the store anymore. I went to river road and picked up the prescription. As I was handed the antibiotic prescription the store manager came to the register and said "dont give her anything the other store called." The antibiotic prescription had no copay and was already filled so I took it and left before they could grab it back from me. I stated that I will be outside to meet the police if they wanted to make a false report as well. They just said "don't come back" Do not worry, I will not ever use another Walgreens, ever. False police reports and assaultive behavior get folks like me killed by police.

Came in during a snow storm. Needed something that was showing in stock online but not stocked on shelves. The younger lady working the register said she's go grab it for me in the back. The older manager wouldn't let her and told me she can't get it from the back for me. So I ordered it curbside and she cancelled my order. Very lazy customer service. Couldn't even give me a time to come back she said "whenever she gets around to stocking the shelves" very rude. 1/13/24

I went in to return a scooter via FedEx at the drop site inside of Walgreens. I walked up and politely asked if this was the right place. Her response was, “how much does that weigh”and without knowing a weight, the next thing she told me was that she can’t take it. That was the last thing she said to me. It was a horrible experience. I think it’s pathetic that this is what customer service looks like these days. You should be ashamed of yourself.

I drove quite a distance to get shots at this particular walgreens because they didn't offer the shots I needed where I lived. I booked the appointment online. I showed up early and I waited 30 minutes for the pharmacy to open to make sure that I could get my shots. The pharmacist was extremely rude and disrespectful. I was told I couldn't get one shot Because I was not sixty. But the other 2 shots. I was supposed to be able to get. She yelled my name very loudly and then expected me to announce my medical conditions in front of a whole room full of people. Then I have insurance through my husband's work. And they said my husband's insurance card doesn't work. So he can't get the shots. But I can because mine works but he can't get the shots. Because I didn't want to announce my medical conditions in front of a whole room of people. So actually, I went down there for nothing. It was a waste of time and money very rude. The worst experience I ever had. And I'm never going to shop at this store again. They should just close it down. I've been looking at the reviews. And they have a serious problem, and the pharmacist is very rude and disrespectful. Maybe the store could look at the reviews and see what the problems are and try to fix them. I called the store and explained the situation and he said they were following protocol. So I guess protocol means to be rude and disrespectful. And obviously my husband's insurance card would work since I have insurance through him. If it wasn't working and my card worked, there was obviously a problem with the employee, not the insurance card. Just saying. Don't waste your time here.

I went in for a flu and covid shot today, arriving 15 min early knowing things tend to get backed up. At one point, I politely asked Ron where I was at in the queue (just needed to know in case I wouldn’t get back to work in time). When my turn came, he scolded me for being “impatient” and proceeded to make me really uncomfortable by being antagonistic, condescending, and rude. I called him out, and he said “do you want your shot or not.” I told him he was making me feel uncomfortable and unsafe, and he said “if you’re uncomfortable you can reschedule. I don’t care.” I decided I didn’t want to get two shots from someone who was being so hostile toward me, so I left. I can see that others on here have had a problem with him as well.

I visited on october twenty eighth saturday. I made an appointment online to get a shot. I traveled forty miles one way eighty miles round trip. I waited 30 minutes and line got to the window. The employee said my husband's insurance card did not work. But my insurance card did work. I have insurance through my husband's work So if his car doesn't work And mine does there's a problem with the employee. So my husband didn't receive any shots due to the incompetence. This is after we stood at the window for like twenty minutes. The pharmacist called me over in a rude and loud voice. And then proceeded to tell me that I couldn't get one of the shots Because I didn't have underlying conditions. I do have underlying conditions but I didn't feel like announcing them to her with a whole room full of people. Basically, there were a lot of people there waiting in line. I left. I wasn't going to be able to get the shots that I needed. They couldn't run my husband's insurance card correctly. And the pharmacist was the rudest I've ever experienced. I called the store manager and all he did was back paddle. I can see why they have a one star rating. They might read some of these reviews and fixed the problems. The first one I would do is to fire the rude pharmacist and train the employees so that they can competently put in your insurance card. So I'm out gas for an 80 mile round trip and I don't have my shots. Thanks a lot walgreens.

If there was a negative option would have chose that. The pharmacy is full of liers and uneducated Wana be Dr.s . They ran out of my medication so I asked for it to transferred, was told it was against the law ... so I. Called my Dr to reissue it to a different Walgreens with then also being out of said medication

I ordered my prescription online thinking I would give my local pharmacy a break as they usually only fill my prescriptions until I call or show up in person. Little did I know that would be the worst mistake I could have made. Not only did they do the same thing as the local pharmacy (only filled it once we called and asked for status) which I believe is a national policy, but they never even shiped it when we called. So not only did it take longer than it was supposed to but now they are causing my insurance to say it's already been filled. That leads me back to my local pharmacy. I called them to fix it and all I got was incompetence and rudeness. Do yourself a favor and never shop or pharmacy at walgreens.

If you have other options, take them. Making appointments means nothing, this place is hopelessly understaffed. Nothing against the people, but the expertise and skill is clearly lacking (due to high turn-around rate). If you respect your own time, avoid Walgreens.

After experiencing all pharmacy services in the area (with the exception of Walmart), I've settled on Walgreens. Without naming names, my previous provider was over charging Medicare and I thought that was grossly inappropriate. This company really does an excellent job. Their employees are working their butts off, managing an overwhelming workload with efficiency and a smile. This recommendation is coming from a retired pharmacist that knows the ropes.

Worst phone call I’ve ever experienced. My husbands medicine is on back order so I have to call around to find the location of a controlled substance before the dr sends it over. A certain technician at this location claimed “oh I’m sorry we can’t give that personal information over the phone”. I said “so you want my dr to waste his time calling around or just send it over and then I find out you don’t have it and have to have him resend it?!” He said “yes”. Walgreens educated your employees that patients can call ahead for stock purposes. Called Mohawk and they had ZERO issue telling me ?

I don't usually post negative reviews because they carry alot of weight. But standing in line waiting to be acknowledged when no one else is in line is rude and so unprofessional. Today I waiting for my flu shot, i had an appt and they took a walk in that came in after me first. They never told me anything i asked ron and he was extremely rude to me. Prior to this interaction I witnessed this rude man speaking so disrespectfully to an elderly women while the rest of the staff chuckled. Why is this acceptable behavior walgreens!!

Wow, this pharmacy is terrible. I talked to two people who had no idea what was going on before being transferred to one of the rudest people I’ve ever spoken to. No idea why some people feel the need to be mean/demeaning to random strangers - this guy definitely has issues. Recommend going literally anywhere else.

30+ minutes on hold, again, is UNACCEPTABLE!!!!! to anyone im sure. This is common here. Staffing issues seem common. I have been on hold this long before only to find out even though i called coburg road, you may get connected to a global call center of sorts. I've experienced rude staff there who hang up on you if you ask to be transferred to the actual store, that you called. WALGREENS NEEDS TO END THIS PRACTICE AND STAFF THEIR PHONES AND STORES. Recently I thought they had improved, but now OVER 35 minutes on hold, how is anyone supposed to go about their life yet deal with this RUDE, INDIFFERENT COMPANY. MUST BE NICE TO GET AWAY WITH TREATING PEOPLE THIS WAY AND STAY IN BUSINESS. AND YOU ARE A HEALTHCARE COMPANY? NOTHING BUT STRESS HERE, GO ELSEWHERE!!!!!!!
