I use to be so against the idea of doing hot yoga. Sweating more than I necessarily have to was not an appealing idea for me. However, I recently went to their Sunday morning class not knowing it was in a hot room. Now, I can't stop. I am addicted to hot yoga. I feel like I do two hours of work within a 50 -ish minute class. I typically don't get sore muscles after yoga, accept for after sessions here, the next day I feel as if I just spent hours lifting at the gym. I've been to a couple of sessions now and am looking forward to making their Sunday morning class a part of my regular weekly fitness routine.

I really enjoy Wild Light. I drop into a couple classes whenever I'm visiting Eugene. The instructors are always very kind and welcoming, some even remember me when I haven't been there for a couple months which is amazing. The space is clean and inviting. A couple spots to fill up your water before class. The class space is very large and has wall-to-wall tatami mats. There are plenty of blocks and straps to use. Blocks are cleaned/sprayed after each use and left to dry out individually, not stacked again immediately while damp, which I appreciate. I always feel like I get a good workout here. I bring my mat and towel and I'm soaked and sweaty by the end of every class. It's nice to take a true hot yoga class and get all the toxins out! It also feels like a very non-judgmental environment. Very hippie down-to-earth vibe, unlike those gen z 'white and and black with a neon sign and lulu lemon' studio aesthetics that are commonplace elsewhere. Thank you, Wild Light!!

This has quickly become my favorite yoga studio in the Eugene area. I love the large yoga practice area and the heated yoga options, and being able to start my day at a convenient location downtown with the many options of classes. The teachers are super kind and thorough and describe each posture very well as needed and help bring awareness to your practice. Highly highly recommend.

I have been trying to find the yoga studio in Eugene that matches my energy, like the one back East did, and I finally found Wildlight! I love the heat, although I have to say that Jess’s classes are consistently hot - I sweat more in her class even though her C26 poses are less rigorous. I love Laura and Matt. This studio has been helping me to get back in shape after a very difficult preggo and childbirth. I would say that even though it says on the website that classes are for “all levels” - they are not for those with zero prior yoga experience. The room is big and instructors don’t walk around fixing your poses. I really miss that part of my old studio.

This was the first heated yoga studio I have ever been to and it completely changed my life. I have been to many studios since moving away from Eugene and have not found a studio that I love more than Wild Light. Incredibly friendly staff, great community, and a body positive and inclusive environment. Could not recommend more highly!

Came into Wild Light for a drop in class since I'm visiting from out of town. Loved the location! Right in downtown and walking distance to some acai bowl and smoothie places :). The instructor was really welcoming and efficient in checking me in. Matt rentals are $2. Get to class early!! The weekend class definitely filled up quick. I did the Hot Vinyasa flow and it was a great workout. I felt that the room was really hot and enabled more flexibility. The floor is a cool material (not a slippery wooden floor) that led for better traction on some spillover poses like wild thing! Would definitely come back - but maybe on one of the non peak times to escape the crowd
