The guys who did the work were excellent. They fixed the water damaged floor by my front door and replaced my door. They were very kind and professional and helpful. They forgot to fix a little thing so I sent their staff a couple emails and was told someone would be out to fix it.They left me a bill at my front door but didn't fix the issue so I'm not sure if they even got the message. So I fixed it myself, no biggie I guess. I called and emailed about having some additional work done and nobody returned my email or calls. I guess they don't want return business?Services: Flooring

I am fairly new to Eugene, OR and, when I discovered mold in my bedroom closet, I was not sure where to begin. Willamette Valley Restoration was recommended to me by a local building contractor. From the very first phone call to their office, I knew I had made the right choice. My Project Manager, Sawyer, came out that same afternoon, assessed the situation, and proceeded to enclose the area so that I could continue to live in my home safely. From start to finish, Sawyer provided me with support and guidance in an honest and straight-forward manner as we maneuvered through dealing with my insurance company and HOA, working with subcontractors, and a number of unexpected twists and turns in the repair process. My main repair team, Gary, Luis, and Matt were hard-working, diligent and an asset to the company. They were conscientious employees who took pride in their work.I made a number of trips to the main office and was always greeted with a smile. Accounting provided me with all the information I asked for in a timely manner. My house has now returned to normal with the addition of new flooring and a new roof. (As I mentioned above-there were a number of unexpected twists and turns to the repair.) Thank you Willamette Valley Restoration, Sawyer, Gary, Luis, and Matt for making a stressful situation manageable. I would recommend your company to anyone who needed restoration work.Services: Mold inspection

I'm outside their area and was having trouble finding help for a water damage situation. They called and offered to travel the extra distance since I couldn't get help. Quality people.

Just save yourself the trouble. The price is not worth the headache. Severely inadequate work. Many repairs were needed after the job was done. Left many repairs undone. Had several no shows after being told they would be working on our property.Service: Fire damage cleanup & repair

Steer clear! I hardly ever write a review but in this case I do feel a warning is completely deserved. Absolutely worst experience we’ve ever had without even verbally or contractually signing anything with them. My property manager called a number of services to fix an issue on our short term rental home. She spoke to Sawyer the property manager to get an estimate and scope the project. Sawyer assumed based on one conversation that he had won our business and started assembling a team on his end. Because our rental is located in a remote area, his team couldn’t meet our timeline nor was his quote the best bid.Weeks after Thanksgiving which is when the work needed to be completed and was by another company, he called our property manager confirming a random date and time for his crew to come do the work. This was a shock to her, we had zero on the calendar and never confirmed or discussed a date other than the date we need the work to be complete. Again, his team couldn’t meet that so it was a moot point. My property manager never confirmed we were moving forward with his bid. What company or qualified project manager allocates time and resources without confirming and/or getting the contract terms signed off on?Weeks later I receive a bill from the team for the time and resources they put into a job they never secured. In the first place. Sawyer then lied via email about the transaction to save face internally I suppose. Absolute worst experience we had dealing with maintenance issues on all four of our larger vacation rental properties (and we deal with a lot of people - some good and some not so good). This again, by far worst experience ever!Sawyer is unprofessional, a horrible communicator, and lacks the skills to be a project manager I would want in any project; big or small.

I was blown away by the work Mirkan did at our house. It was a real mess, and not only was he fast and efficient, but the repair and cleanup work resulted in an entire wall looking better than it did pre-damage. Highly recommended.Service: Water damage-related cleanup & repair

Their estimator came out as soon as called. He took samples of damage to submit to lab to estimate quality of damaged floors and promised to call back within three days. He did not call at all that entire week. I am disabled, home 24/7 and have an answering machine. The next week I called them and was told that "nobody who could discuss the estimate was in the office" but that they would call "the next day". When no calls came, I called them EVERY DAY FOR SIX CONSECUTIVE DAYS and each day was given the same nobody was in the office but they would call back the next day speech. Nobody called me back during that week. They wanted an immediate 50% deposit on materials they had never shown me or even described. The following week, they finally called and set an appointment for the end of the week. They said their initial estimator had quit. Dead silence from them when I asked why I had not been informed of the reason for their lack of response or about the delay. I am an M.B.A. former University professor and do not send thousands of dollars for materials I have never seen or heard about, phone calls not returned for over two weeks, and the worst communication I have ever experienced. GO ELSEWHERE!

I'M FOND OF THIS PLACE BECAUSE THEY'RE GOOD AT WHAT 5HEY DO AND ARE FAMILY FRIENDLY... THEY CLEAN LABEL AND WRAP EVERY ITEM. AND EACH BOX COMES WITH A LABEL DESCRIBING THE CONTENTS. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT. AS A FIRST CHOICE WHEN NATURE HITS YOUR PROPERTY HOPEFULLY THAT NEVER HAPPENs.

They do not pay vendor bills for 2 years & then refuse to pay their late fees. If they treat their vendors this way, I can only imagine how they treat their customers.

So for we are way over time and way over budget. Nothing has been ordered on time. Workers showing up in the wrong days with no masks. I’ll take this down if they make things right. But so far we have been 3 months with no progress. Seems like as soon as they got our insurance money they vanished.Well it has been a month since I wrote that review. I am a bit torn. I wan to say their billing is intentionally malicious, but that implies a level of competence that is just not present. I would say their work is sub-par, but that implies they have done any work at all. So I guess all I can say is stay far far away. If your insurance provider tries to use these folks I would recommend looking in to a different insurance provider.I have not seen a single positive result from allowing this company to touch my home. We tried to be patient and stay positive, but they have clearly seen that as something to take advantage of.2 months later and it’s still more of the same. We have made some progress but not much. Was again promised something would be installed today only to find out it has not even been ordered.7 months later and the job is still not complete. Our insurance company has given us permission to hire another contractor to finish the job. I’m just happy to have these people out of my life. Much of the work they have done will have to be torn out and done again. Our insurance company is in agreement with this assessment. Over all this saga will likely be about a year long.Services: Plumbing

Big mess with an overflowing sink. Got it cleaned it up pretty quickly with the shop vac but worried the hardwood floors would suffer. I chose WVR because 1) they were available to come out on a Saturday evening, and 2) they did full-service mitigation AND restoration.By the time they arrived, the boards were beginning to cup on the edges. My second-guessing of filing a claim quickly ceased. Joe and Mirkan worked until midnight, first mapping out the extent of the water creep with moisture meters. Next, they set up vacuum mats, circulation fans, and dehumidifiers. They took meticulous notes with measurements and photos to document the conditions. They recognized that the baseboards were unique in dimension and material and would be very difficult to replace so took extra care when removing them to gain access to the wallboard.Joe took a few minutes to explain what they found and they're game plan to mitigate it. He then explained how they worked with the insurance company to come to an agreement about the services needed and reimbursement.Joe and Mirkan returned Sunday morning to check the equipment and take moisture readings, making notes of the drying progress. They returned Monday morning with a crew to remove floor insulation under the affected area and set up more fans and dehumidifiers. Each morning, Joe and/or Mirkan showed up to take moisture readings and move equipment as conditions improved.Through the whole process, they were prompt, courteous, and professional. I would highly recommend WVR and this crew if you find yourself in a similar predicament. The restoration team has a tough act to follow!

Deceptive and predatory business. In early Jan, business was supposed to do just a small hallway, wash room, and bathroom. Without consulting me, they tore up my entire bottom floor. Originally quoting me only a couple thousand to correct. After waiting for six months to finish, the final bill came to over $8,000. Beware, if you or your insurance company tries to hire them, they will intentionally deceive you amd increase the price.

WVR is not only professional but they look out for the customer. They try to make sure the customer gets the best quality within the restrictive guidelines that they are required to follow from the insurance companies. Sometimes the projects do go longer than expected but usually that is because WVR is trying to deal with insurance companies approval processes that are mandatory before work can be completed.

These guys did a TERRIFIC job of helping us save our home from a four day water heater leak. They used blowers, vacuums, dehumidifiers, and removed all wet construction and insulation materials. Dried our house out before mold and mildew could set in. Professional and on time, very courteous.
