Negative comments on XPO may be related to previous change in leadership. After five years of ruining the USPS, Trump's buddy, Louis DeJoy, will be leaving the Post Office. Maybe he'll return to XPO and 'go postal' on that biz.

Do not use this company if you can help it. I made an order with Homebody, who uses this company as a shipping partner. Homebody had provided them the incorrect phone number to contact me, so my piece has been sitting in their warehouse for almost 1 whole month. After finally reaching out to me on Friday of last week, I am on a work trip and will not be available until the following Monday. They are now stating that they cannot store my piece for a week (even though they have had it for 1 month?) while I am away for the week, and that I will have to pay a storage fee. When presented with the situation, they stated they are not at fault and that I need to contact Homebody (meaning I am out of luck if they do not want to take care of the storage fee). This place has one job, which is to facilitate the logistics of getting my item to me in a timely manner, and couldn't even get that done. If someone had been reaching out with a improper number and was not reaching anyone, at what point is it the responsibly of this company to reach out to their vendor for more information?
XPO is the worst furniture delivery service I have ever delt with, and I will be sharing my experience with others.
11/25 follow up: this company is a freight company, not a delivery company so that means they Just leave all your stuff on the curb. Literally a grown Made me seven huge containers into my house by myself and left huge crates in the street I had to take to the garbage. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!! I’m usually not unhinged enough to follow up on a review, but the service was so bad I had to.

You say that you have world class customer service. Yet you don't pick up the phone...ever. You can't really have customer service if you don't actually pick up the phone and provide that service. You should get zero stars since you have zero customer service.

Have been waiting for 5 weeks for a Costco delivery through these guys. Costco let us know it is a 4 week maximum delivery window. They set the day for delivery weeks away, we called to verify and it just keeps changing. And now they can’t deliver on the day they set, and They can’t give us a day of the week they can deliver for our work schedule. It’s been very complicated and wishy washy to work with this company. We could really use our washer and dryer.

Actual worst customer service I’ve experienced. DO NOT agree to accept if they “forget” parts of your order at the warehouse. Shady, unreliable, unprofessional. Still waiting on either a phone call, email or for them to stop screening my calls so I can get ANOTHER (maybe third time is a charm) appointment set up for the delivery of the rest of my order.

I ordered three pieces of expensive furniture. This company had been hired by the furniture company to deliver the items. We had a delivery time of 5pm or later yesterday set up because my husband and I both work. As of 7pm no one had come so I called and the dispatch person said that they tried to deliver by furniture at 1:30pm. Notes in the system were "no one was home". Well I wonder why!?!? I rescheduled the delivery for today after 3:30pm because my husband was going to be home earlier today and I gave them my husband's number as a second number in case I didn't answer they could call him to let us know they were on their way. At 1:30pm today I get a call from my 14 year old daughter who is home alone with her brother that while she is running on the treadmill in the garage a strange man was walking around our house looking in the window! Not only did they not call me nor my husband before they arrived, they arrived way too early AGAIN, the deliver person made my daughter feel very uncomfortable, the person was not wearing a mask and if it were not for my 17 year old son who came out to questions the guy as to what he was doing and ask him to put the items in the garage, the delivery would have been left outside our garage in the rain. The man did not have a mask on and he handed my son a wet packing slip, did not offer to go over the shipment's condition like the delivery scheduling person said he would and walked away. SERIOUS??? Called the delivery company, spoke to the supervisor Bill. He did listen to me and he did apologize. He said he'd talk with "Brian" the delivery guy because he's new. I told Bill that that "Brian" wouldn't have a job after pulling that stunt twice with the same customer if he worked with me. I called the furniture company next to let them know about the horrid experience that I had with XPO Logistics. SMH!

*edited review. My order ended up being delivered on time on November 24th. I'll give them 4 stars now. The delivery went well, xpo just needs a little work on the delivery scheduling system ?So far I've had eight different communications over three days with xpo about scheduling my delivery. First they call and schedule for the following week. Later the same day they call back and say they are closed on the day they scheduled my delivery and it will be here sooner, by this Friday. The following morning I receive an email saying they do not have my item in inventory yet so no delivery this Friday, but to email them back to reschedule. I emailed them with three possible dates that worked for me and received no response. The next day a robot calls from the office asking me to call and schedule my delivery. I return the call and the employee informs me that they don't have the item yet and I will be called when they are ready to schedule me... I thought that was the phone call I just got, apparently not. Not an hour later, I receive another email with a different phone number for delivery scheduling and it says to call and schedule my delivery. So I call them, and they schedule my delivery for 3 months from now. I wonder how many more changes will be possible by then.

The worst shipping experience ever. I have had 3 separate transactions with XPO in recent months and all three had missed delivery dates, damaged goods and uncaring customer service. On two of my deliveries I happened to notice (via tracking) that my packages were in Eugene, but received no call, no email. I had to call them and arrange delivery. My first package sat in Eugene for FOUR DAYS before I noticed it had arrived. Again, no call, no email.On two different days, I took time off from my day job to meet an XPO truck that either never showed ("uh, looks like it didn't get on the truck") or was well over 2 hours late. Each time they could have reached out to me but instead, silence. I will never use XPO again. The absolute worst.

Ordered a wood stove on-line and paid to have it delivered to my home. Got notified on Wednesday that it had arrived in Eugene and would be delivered. They were a no show and heard nothing more until I called them late Friday. They asked me if i had a pickup, and if so I could come get it if I wanted to. I declined, then they said they would call Monday to confirm delivery which they did not. Had to call them again. The Store Manager were I bought the stove said they have had a number of complaints about this issue and there was nothing he could do about it. Gave me their customer service number. I would never use XPO again....
