“Cool! Black rock is a local favorite mounting biking area. It rivals the other local legend location (Alsea Falls).There are some serious trails here. Most of the them are for real black diamond or double black diamond, with a few blue and green trails.I’d say from a comparison of Alsea Falls to black rock, black rock is much more technical and advanced than Alsea Falls. But Alsea falls is much longer of a route.Here at Black Rock, the climb from parking lot to summit, it’s about 3.25 miles up the forest service road, totaling about 1200 feet of ascent. Round trip (down the blue trials) is about 6 miles.”
