I have banked with this bank since it was Siuslaw Bank. All my experienceshave been good.....from walk-in to drive through. I love the local and professional attitude and always friendliness. It is lovely that they know their customers by name and how every one is greeted as they come in. The employees are knowledgeable and eager to help. I will happily continue with Banner.

This Florence branch of Banner Bank is the most unprofessional bank I’ve ever seen. It displays a complete lack of understanding by the management of how a bank should operate, if the goal is to instill confidence in its depositors. From the music being turned up too loud on a ghetto blaster sitting out in the open, the dusty old canned food sitting on shelves, the unprofessional attire worn by the employees, the lack of friendliness that results in an environment in which you’re made to feel like you’re an inconvenience, the lack of professionalism by management, etc., this bank isn’t for me. Calling the Florence Banner Bank branch the Grocery Outlet of banking, would be an insult to the Florence Grocery Outlet. I’m certain that I’m not the only depositor who is moving to the nearby Oregon Pacific Bank.

First of all I think you guys should work on giving people second chances because person looking to open a business and get back on their feet and then getting turned away that's pretty sad I just felt I was slapped in the face when I walked out of there and I was judged and that is pretty sad because my credit score was under 600 And then the bank closed in my face and I was just sitting in my car and I felt like giving up but thanks to the person that cleans the bank she gave me some insight on not giving up because she saw me crying I really truly and thankful for her I think her name was Kayla but she really helped me see things in a different way

I was actually happy with banners Services it was just management that I feel what's the problem. I will never do business with them again in the Florence branch.

Teller A was very friendly , She asked teller B if the transaction I was asking for could be done, they said yes. Then Teller A went back and asked manager and manager said no because I don’t have an account. Poor business practice in general to turn away a customer that could potentially become a continual client. I’m sure I will get the typical response of “thanks for letting us know, we will let corporate know” schpeil……however Just do better. You never know if the person walking in off the streets has high amounts in an account at another bank and is looking for top notch customer service somewhere else. Not here at Banner Bank in Florence .

I was asking whether Banner Bank whether my out of state Debit card could be used in their bank's ATM. After holding for 8-10 minutes, I was told there was no teller's available to answer that question, and I should call back at another time, she didn't know. Okay, I just moved here recently, so that customer service is all I need to know whether I would open an account there. No, I won't.

This review is for Kari Summerall, Residential Loan Officer from Lake Oswego through Banner Bank.She handled our home mortgage application and processing for us. We think she should be promoted in the company. This is the kind of person you want running things. Her customer service was excellent, she was always available and responded quickly. We felt like we were her first priority and she answered every question, knew what she was talking about and made us feel comfortable. We would give her more than five stars if we could.

My account was locked for over 10 hours on multiple occasions, and my debit card would not work at several merchants. Banner Bank had no explanation for any of my issues.
