The hotel from the outside looks dated. Inside the lobby and the room was updated, not extravagant but decent. The bathroom could use a little updating and cleaning but wasn't disgusting. The balcony was small and was blocked mostly by trees/brush with a small house in front of the hotel. It was close to the bridge but far enough away that we didn't hear any traffic noise. We only stayed overnight so it served our purpose. Beds were comfortable and everything was clean. Breakfast was the highlight with good coffee and made to order omelettes! All the staff was attentive and friendly. Parking was ok while we were there but could see it being tight if they were full.

Our recent stay at the Best Western Pier Point was wonderful, and the main reason we'll be coming back is Jennifer at the front desk. From the moment we checked in, she was incredibly kind, welcoming, and genuinely helpful. She went above and beyond to make sure our stay was comfortable, and it made a huge difference in our overall experience.
It's not often that you come across someone who truly makes you feel at home while traveling, but Jennifer did exactly that. Her professionalism combined with her warm personality is exactly the type of service that keeps guests returning.
Because of her outstanding customer service, we will definitely be choosing this hotel again. Thank you, Jennifer, for making our trip such a positive experience!

This was a great location for us to stay for trip to the Dunes. Views from our room, breakfast area and pool were all amazing! The complimentary break with the personal cooked hamlet was a first for us and its now officially our favorite breakfast of all the hotels with stayed at so far. I personal feel that if your staying in Florence this should be your first choice to spend the night. We also walking across the bridge to downtown because its so close.

This was a perfect stop on our way down the Oregon coast; the room was spacious and clean, and the bed was comfortable. The staff, particular Angelic at the front desk, was especially lovely and made our entire stay that much better! We’ll definitely stay here again next time we’re in Florence.

I have never encountered a person as hostile as the night time front desk clerk named Angelic here at the Best Western. The worst service I’ve ever encountered in my life and an absolute garbage attitude. Her coworkers couldn’t even get her to conduct herself in an appropriate manner. She got in my face and threatened me all over cake. We had a birthday party there ( for an 11 year old) and she was convinced we were going to take food in the pool area. Jumped the gun big time… I’m at a loss and am soo disappointed. We even made friends with another group of people who witnessed her actions and are going to make complaints. Ive never felt compelled to write a bad review. But we are left feeling uncomfortable to a huge extent. We frequent hotels for travel and I have never seen anything close to this in my life! I do not recommend this hotel to anyone who wants to come to Florence…

Our river view room on the top floor was a little piece of paradise. Sooo comfortable and peaceful. We enjoyed sitting on the balcony and watching the river boats and mists come in and out. Everything was clean, and the beds were particularly comfortable. And made-to-order omelets for breakfast were a special treat!

This hotel was a hidden gem! We had a great view of the canal, our room was very clean, and the staff was very kind and helpful. We had been on a long road trip with many hotel stays and this was our favorite stay with the best complimentary breakfast!

This was a nice little motel! We enjoyed being able to rest at night but there were some serious concerns which should ding this to a 3 star experience but I chose to only knock off one star. I was terribly disappointed knowing my bed sheets had absolutely not been washed. There were at least 5 hairs in my bed. When I lifted the sheets more, it was apparent that the sheets had been flipped rather than washed because there were more hairs. The bathroom didnt fully drain which was also frustrating.
I will say now the staff were kind, and excellent.
They were beyond friendly and helped with everything. The room was pretty clean except for the bed and the shower was decent and stayed really hot!
The noise levels around can be heard including hearing people speak at 1 am which kept me up.
The bed was pretty comfortable and the fridge and microwave were nice. Overall, I think this was the best motel in the area and came with a spectacular view of the river. I really also enjoyed the wonderful breakfast and would highly recommend people eat the amazing assortment of food!
Thanks for the stay, please wash the sheets

Very very poor customer service ADA is not accessible for people that have walkers or on a scooter parking is horrible. They said at the front desk they can’t monitor parking so whoever parks or parks there even if you pay for a spot, they don’t check to make sure that there’s any available for you. They’ll let anybody park there according to the front desk Rudest people I’ve ever met and I’ve stayed at a lot of hotels

Had a wonderful weekend staying here. Was super close to the dunes and close to town, and had great views of the river and bridge.

We have now reached the senior citizen age and the room that we were originally given was definitely not appropriate for senior citizens or someone with mobility issues. It was like going through a maze as we awkwardly lugged our luggage with us. Steps, no carts or elevator. The lady at the front desk did find another room for us where there were no steps. She nicely offered to take my suitcases to the new room while I moved the car to the appropriate parking area. The room did have outside access with a ramp.
