This place is a joke, we're in town working a fire and needed to do laundry and get a shower. This place has a huge sign saying they have showers but they actually don't since the only way they offer them is if an attendant is present. They force you to buy their shitty non-refundable card to pay for their machines just to do laundry and when you try to contact someone they do t answer their phone. If you need your clothes washed don't come here !!! Avoid this ripoff like the plague. No doubt any money spent here is funding some scam artist

I can't believe that they can get away with such a scam!! You must buy a NON-REFUNDABLE card with CASH that cost $.49! What a ripoff. There no way to get in contact with anyone operating the scam. They say they have a website, but I was only able to find anywhere contact someone, so I could at lease curse someone else in person. This place is a first class scam! taking advantage of those traveling to the area.

The water is currently turned off.... Between us and another couple we had 6 washers going, none of which had water running in them. No website and non responsive phone number. I wasted 40 dollars on a pre paid card there so I can even get the rest of the money off it. And had to get my laundry detergent covered clothes out, pack them up and head to another laundromat.

I have used the laundromat in Florence, Oregon several times. It is always dirty. The dryers take your money but won't dry your clothes. The lint traps are so full that the dryer doesn't put out any heat. Times are tough enough, we don't need placing like this where you pay for a service and don't receive it. There is never an attendant on duty so there is no one to assist you! Come on, I would like to at least get my money back that your stupid machines took and didn't even dry my family's clothes!

Seemingly no human ever maintains the building or machines. Have lost probably $100 in the machines over the last year because they either take your money and don't run, or the machines shut off mid-cycle. Terribly dirty (I cleaned up feces off the floor one time I was there) and owner is non-responsive to phone messages. Options are limited in Florence for laundry, so it's worth it to head to Reedsport or Waldport to use their facilities instead.

If I could rate this less I would. Washing machines are dirty and the laundry card readers for majority of the machines are broken but will take your credit anyways. You can load your card up and there is no way to get a refund for the malfunction machines. This is an absolute disgrace of a business. I left a voicemail on their business line and I'm waiting to hear back. There is absolutely no reason for my $20 credit to disappear after attempting to start a dryer after it continuously said: "reinsert card." Take your money elsewhere.

This place is horrible! No soap for sale! Expensive! Dryer's do not work! And I had to use an non refundable card. Not one dryer was working! I washed and now have to go to a different laundromat and start all over. DO NOT COME HERE! I never will again.

I will not give them any stars that all! My clothes got trapped in the washer that went part way through the cycle and then decided it was out of order. Made at least a dozen calls over 4 days to see if anybody could get me some help. Customer service never gave a call back. Finally went to the laundromat today and my clothes have disappeared and no one in sight. I have never given such a bad review but if I could give less than zero I would.

This is an absolutely filthy laundromat. I'm surprised the county doesn't shut it down or cite them. As soon as I walked in I turned around and went back to my regular laundromat which is so much nicer and cleaner and friendlier. Plus it's really expensive. $0.60 for 5 minutes of drying? Omg

While visiting in Florence, we used the Green Lightening Laundry twice. Last year, we had a problem with the dryers. We had to move our wet clothes 3x as the dryers we chose WOULD NOT WORK! I called the phone number (which is posted in one place only) and left a message. My call was not returned. Our family members also visited last year and had to pull clothes out of the washer, filled with water as it stopped working in the middle of the wash cycle! Their call was not returned either! We returned this year, hoping all would be good...NOPE! Again, we had to move our clothes out of dryers 3x! None of these machines last year or this year were marked as non-working machines. I could not leave a VM on the phone number, so I texted. Again, no response. Our family members went again too, and even though we posted a note on the non-working machines, it was removed, so they lost money again as well! Also, the floors and the facility were FILTHY! We love Florence and like to give the locals our business. No more for this place!

Prices are very expensive No one there to return money for machine that won't start when I was there three people lost $3.00 each. Nice little profit for them. No 'needs Service ' signs available' to prevent others fir trying to use the machine.

Green Lightning Laundry takes your money, but the machines don't work! We put 30.00 in 4 washing machines and they did not have any water! Had to take out clothes in all machines and look for another laundromat. Also the credit card machine was not working. When you try to call their phone#, it just rings and rings - no answer and no voice mail set up! So, there is no way to get ahold of anyone! Very frustrating to spend 30.00 for nothing! Other people were hsving the same problem and had to leave without doing their laundry!

About three weeks ago our family was driving through Florence on our RV trip through Oregon and it was time to wash clothes. Wife googled and found this place and sadly didn't take a look at the reviews. Two large washers were used as we're a family of six and when they were done only one unlocked. The other displayed a error code and flashed "Out of Order". The machine remained locked and we couldn't get our clothes. We immediately called (twice) the line listed on the walls of the facility. We waited and tried again and was only able to leave another message. Our itinerary needed us to move on (nearby) and we called to let them again know of our contact info and concern. No response to any of our calls. A week goes by and we call again. NOTHING. We returned home and called several times since and NOTHING. CASE HARRIS is the owner and should be ashamed for not responding to his customers. There were sentimental clothes my kids had to leave behind. Please make things right, Mr. Harris, and contact us to rectify this situation! My recommendation is to stay far away from this laundry and look for one that is responsive to their customers. Do not use Green Lightning Laundry!

No attendant available. Bathrooms locked, showers locked. No cash or coin. Have to buy an "easy card" then put money on the card. No getting money back that you don't use. The laundry machine will take the money and then not start. This happened twice to me. No one around to help. Just lost $9.50 on two loads that wouldn't start. I would never come here again.

Greed at its finest!!!! 1) in order to wash, you must purchase their card. No cash, no credit cards options. What a windfall these hustlers are making. I'd say a lot of people never come back here and the balances on their card is never used but is a gain fo these crooks. 2) no carts to move your laundry around in from washer to dryer 3) laundry takes a bit of time, not bathroom facilities. I'm completely fine with a business making a living off me, but this is some serious greed going on.
