About Oregon Coast Humane Society
The Oregon Coast Humane Society in Florence is a non-profit, no-kill shelter dedicated to assisting homeless and abused companion animals. The support comes through donations, a thrift store, and fundraising. The staff and volunteers are described as friendly, professional, welcoming, supportive, and helpful. They answer questions and make the adoption process seamless and exceptional, striving to find forever homes. The facilities are super clean, with animals in clean condos and a cute catio. All the animals are very well taken care of, loved, and have plenty of friends to take home. The experience is wonderful and highly recommended.

Excellent facility. Low pressure. Staff let us take our time learning about the dogs. We found an adorable chihuahua terrier mix. Their dogs seem happy, well socialized and exercised regularly. Great cat area with lots of room to roam and jump.

It is full of kittens. More seriously, the staff and volunteers were the right combination of friendly and professional. Plenty of friends for you to take home!

We got our new family member here. Friendly and patient staff (I've never adopted a dog before).
