I came to the coast with my terminally ill golden retriever and had forgotten his medication at home. The team at Osburn went well out of their way to help me. I am very grateful for their kind treatment and assistance. Thank you!

My problem with Osburn is not about the competence of the doctors or the obvious good care they take with the animals. Instead it concerns the business end of the clinic. Two issues have caused me to seek vet care elsewhere. On one occasion I was sent home with a medication that had already been provided by them a few weeks prior to treat an ear infection. When I realized that the $43 bottle was identical to one they had already sold me I immediately contacted them and was informed they could not take the second one back nor refund me my money because "it is against the law." Really? It took three days, another visit to the clinic, considerable argument, and frustration to finally get them to credit me the payment I had made based on their error. Then, when I discovered their prices for prescribed flea and heart worm medication could be beat by 20%, on line through Pet Med, I ordered the products from that source. Pet Med, a large and reputable provider, simply asks the vet to call a toll free number to confirm the prescription. This Osburn refuses to do. The only thing they will provide is a written prescription which must then be mailed to Pet Med. Over the past four months I have paid Osburn over $1,000 in dealing with a new, and really quite healthy, puppy and they won't take five minutes to make a simple phone call? I honestly believe their refusal results from the idea that most people will not go to the trouble necessary to save the 20% and buy the products directly from them. Just plain bad business practice.

Osburn Veterinary recently assisted me with a difficult situation. They were able to see my elderly dog quickly even though they were very busy. They made a terrible day a bit more bearable and I'm thankful for that. Vets and staff were kind and gracious, making final arrangements and even sending a condolences card. It's nice to have quality veterinary care here in Florence.

Had a great first visit! Very friendly staff. Dr Lindsey and Tabbie were top notch! Treated our animals as though they were their own. Highly recommend.

Very loving staff,I was late but they accommodated me and my dog was able to get seen by the vet I gave 5 stars for the cleanliness, atmosphere was pleasant, staff was polite and answered all my questions. Thank you osburn vet clinic.

They were awesome in getting me in on short notice. Treated me and my 15 year old guy so well while we were on the road and needed some help. Knowledgeable, caring, and even let me come back in when I forgot to have his nails trimmed! Great people and place for your pet to get checked out.

I recently had to travel to Salem to take my son to the hospital for knee surgery. I packed my clothes and medicine and my dog 's food and medicine and headed out for our week long adventure. When I got there and unpacked I realized that I had NOT packed my dog's critical medicine. I went to a local veterinarian and asked if they could call my regular veterinarian (Osburn) and give me enough medicine for my visit. Unfortunately they could not do it without her being a patient and having a full exam and had no openings for the foreseeable future. I called Osburn and though clearly very busy at the moment transferred me to the Office Manager. We discussed some options for getting some medication shipped to me but with the best option Peppermint would still be without her critical heart medication for two or three days. And then the Office Manager (Beth) made an offer I couldn't refuse! She was going to an event at OSU the following morning and she would bring the needed medicine with her! We met her there and as a result of her efforts Peppermint only missed a single dose! Thanks Beth!!

Warning! Don't waste your time & money on this clinic. I have been a loyal customer since 2014. After having a non-productive service complaint phone call with manager Beth, I was asked to find a different vet. I refer to my review on 1/8/2024 in which they charged me for unapproved services. They refused to believe me when I told them I had not been asked for nail trimming. It must be nice to have such a clientele base that you can take advantage of & then show people the door if there is a complaint. this is a zero-compassion business.

We’ve only been with Osborne for the past four months. We have three puppies and so far their customer service has been fantastic. The vet has an awesome bedside manner. They explain everything and the cost. We were at Veneta vet clinic for the past six years, hour drive, two hour wait hour drive home. Different vet. Every time we went there staff was cordial. It was getting too complicated. Last week our senior dog had a seizure at home and did not recover. She had to be put down. I can’t say enough about all the staff at Osborne, how kind, considerate and empathetic they were under a difficult emotional situation. Thank you Osborne!!!
