Safeway Fuel Station is a go-to gas station in Florence with friendly and helpful staff. They offer full service, pumping gas and cleaning windows. Gas prices are cheaper than in many towns. The station has plenty of pumps and easy highway access. The attached store has a decent selection and the basics for travelers, with great weekly sales using a club card. The restroom is clean. While the store can be extremely cold inside, it is well-stocked and allows for quick visits with self-checkout available. It is a pleasant and appreciated stop.
Fuel is way overpriced compared to others near by. Unless you have points to save 50 cents or more you will pay 10 cents more than you would at other gas stations near by

The staff pumping gas in Florence today did such a great job, I felt like I was at a 1950s gas station. Thank you for cleaning my front and back window.
