Jeff Hoyt and team are simply the best. My family is grateful for their professionalism, courtesy, responsiveness and timeliness. They really helped us in such difficult times in 2022 for Dad and 2023 for Mom. And even now years later they are still helping us… Thank you, Fuiten Hoyt.

I called Fuiten Rose and Hoyt when my father was put on hospice. We had both of my Grandparents large funerals with caskets, viewings, burial and the whole works. My father passed away and they do not have the funds for big funeral after extended stay in assisted living. I was sent a price sheet and spoke to Jeff there. My father is a veteran and qualifies for a free headstone, Jeff tried to up sell me for a double for when my mother passes. I told him I think we would stick with Dads. Later I emailed him asking what we could do on a budget. He had a brochure to a budget crematorium emailed to me. Apparently this is a sister company, but I didn't know that. I called back explaining how I feel they did not want to help me because I was on a budget. Jeff was put back on the phone and was very abrupt and rude. This is a very emotional time for people and there was no compassion at all from him.

My brother passed away on the 15th of March. Jeff Hoyt was very caring and helpful with walking us through the details of the service we wanted and what was necessary for us to do. We appreciated the fact that he didn't try to sell us something that we didn't want or need. He just listened and made it happen. Thank you, Jeff.

When I was living in Vernonia my family was sent a paper regarding pre planning arrangements I sent it back and it was so SLOW getting a letter back to set my appointment with a funeral director or staff member. I was really disappointed all I wanted to do was discuss my options about cremation.

My boyfriend and I lost our daughter when I was 33 weeks pregnant and these people were so nice and caring during the process for the worst experience we have had to face together. Tyler was amazing and made everything very simple and easy for us. Her urn was the perfect one for her. They even gave us a velvet heart for it to be in and a red rose when we picked her up. Highly recommended this funeral home!!!

My brother-n-law passed away unexpectedly.. We all live out of state and no idea how to go about making sure our brother had proper services! We called so many places and kept getting told they’re months/weeks out. We called Fuiten Rose and was told they’d help us to get our brother cremated within the week so our family could all drive from our home states out to Oregon to proceed with services as we wouldn’t have been able to all attend had it been pushed out any further. Meanwhile another close family member had decided to purchase keep sale necklaces each necklace would have a little bit of our brothers ashes inside… When the necklaces arrived it was up to us to get them to the crematorium as they fill them and we pick them and my brother urn up all at once. Our family was in an accident on the way to drop of the necklaces so her grandmother said she’d take them on her way she was in an accident with a semi thank god she’s ok her cars totaled but she’s great! We had called Fuiten Rose and explained we were having the worst luck getting to them… they then said they’d come get the necklaces and we could pick them up once they were all ready!!! They kept my mother-n-law up to date on everything they did or were about to do. They literally went above and beyond for our family! We got to celebrate our brother’s life and everyone got there necklaces!! I couldn’t thank you guys enough for everything! Most importantly thank you for taking care of my brother handling him and his ashes as if they were your own family member.. thank you for calling days later just to check in on us!! I’d recommend this place for anyone whom has lost there loved one as they’ll treat you as family!!!!!! Thank you thank you!!!

Jeff Hoyt assisted myself as a nurse with hospice when another funeral home phone did not appear to work. Jeff went above and beyond in helping myself and made sure the family were cared for when this was not even his client, in the middle of the night no less. Would recommend to anyone in need of caring services.

They have partnered with a spam mail company sending snailmail surveys asking questions helping them determine if you have the financial benefits available to start prepaying them for funeral expenses. I do not want your spam guised as a local family company trying to harvest me or anyone's personal information so you can financially gain at others loss.After calling the first phone number that is out of service I got in contact with a very rude front desk person that would not connect me to a manager to complain privately. Run. Update, notice no response? They should relocate to Shady Lane.
