Don't really know what they are doing with cars but they make up excuses that are very expensive and they did a tune up on my truck and charged me for two hours of labor which is way more time than it should be because Ford dealership told me it only takes an hour and half if that long on my engine in my truck

When my home repair attempts left me void of needed features, these guys got me right in and quickly. Explained everything and prices were reasonable.I'll return.

Even though I no longer live in Forest Grove, I still make the trip to Jim's for all of my family's car repair and maintenance needs. Jim and Sal won't fix it if it ain't broken, their prices are fair and the service is always friendly.

So, my car is officially toast, but they were very upfront and honest about it and let me know very quickly what the problem was. I appreciated the quick response and professionalism!

I waited for 15 minutes and nobody was at the front! Not only that, but I called twice while in the store and nobody answered. This was concerning especially because all of the customer keys were hanging up unsecured and unmatched. I could have easily stolen multiple keys if I had wished so. Very irresponsible.

I wouldn't recommend them.Con's: Mechanic lost bolts and didn't reattach heat shield properly, used poor fitting after market parts, left oily hand prints on white car panel/hood, and the check engine light is still on.Pro's: CheapService: General repairs & maintenance

I called them to see if they could add air conditioning to a car that didn't currently have it and the guy who answered to phone was extremely rude and hung up after saying it couldn't be done. I was about to tell him that it was a 78 Corvette that had previously had A/C but he didn't give me the time to answer, he hung up on me before I could give him the details. Still looking for a good A/C shop.

Jim's has always been good to us. They are honest, fair prices and Donald things you don't need. Highly recommend!

Trash. Inept. Disorganized. Jim’s name is on the building but he has no idea what is happening. My vehicle has been there for months awaiting repair. They have no problem charging full price on work that has been returned to them to fix countless times. There’s no personal accountability when they make mistakes: nothing is their fault. I had them install parts that they broke then blamed the manufacturer. I was charged twice for labor even though they broke the parts. Stay away from this place.

Brought my car in for fire damage repair. $600 later I have unchecked burnt wires, power loss, backfiring, and a broken oil gauge. Broke down less than a week later. Car is at another shop that's fixing everything Jim's didn't. Shortsighted crew that want cars in and out too fast without doing a thorough job.Service: General repairs & maintenance

Dropped my car off to get the AC checked out since it wasn't blowing as cold as it should. Told them when I dropped it off that I believe the issue is the condenser fan or the clutch that engages it. Picked the car up today and was told that it is in fact the condenser fan but they cant fix it because they don't have the part (cant they order it? It's a Honda part not some rare European thing). Then they charged me $55 for fixing nothing and telling me what I already told them when I dropped it off. Feels a bit fishy to get charged that much when they could have just moved the car to a different parking spot and charged me $55. Next time I need work done I'll go somewhere else and get a quote first. I recommend others to do the same.Service: General repairs & maintenance
