I've never had a bad experience at The FG Safeway Pharmacy, all the pharmacists have been nice and considerate to me when I've been there, and It's conveniently located.

Monday September 23, 2024. 8pm. I want to thank the pharmacist(s) for going above and beyond their professional calling last night, for their assistance with filling my wife’s prescriptions one hour after the pharmacy’s closing hour. Their assistance was exceptional, unexpected and I am so grateful for their uncalled for assistance. Thank you. What wonderful and helpful professionals.

This pharmacy sucks. They regularly lose scripts and then blame the doctors office. The main pharmacy clerk has a terrible attitude. Now they don't provide notifications unless you use their proprietary app.
Avoid using.
Safeway pharmacy will not fill prescriptions for me because of this review. This action is extremely unprofessional and I would hope illegal. I will be pursuing this with the state pharmacy board .
If you don't want terrible customer service, and a healthy dose of negative attitude, take your prescriptions somewhere else.

This pharmacy always has a line for pickup and you can anticipate waiting anywhere from 20-45 minutes just to get to the front. They usually have 5 people behind the counter, but only one person checking people out.I've on more then one occasion been reprimanded for not coming to pick up my medication the same day its done.The staff is very over worked and really rude. And Safeway doesn't seem to care to try and cross train someone for back up checking.

Saying script wasn't sent when doctor and nurse both said it was. Then when they actually have to look "oh yes it was sent, we didn't get it ready because it's not one they are used to seeing". Its a steroid!! Not a great pharmacy. Have almost no knowledge of toddler medications and seem to have a harder time getting them ready. When they are not use to seeing the medications, they assume they are not being picked up and don't get them ready. Not the first time this has happened. If you have toddler's with health problems I'd go to a different pharmacy if you have a choice. Love the children's hospital they have never let us down. Since switching to the children's hospital a year ago, I've only had to come to Safeway a few times on weekends when the children's hospital was closed. Which always ends up in a headache. Thank God I have a backup of his steroid otherwise he'd end up in the ICU again.

This is the worst pharmacy I have ever experienced to say the least! Most times, the wait line takes 20-30 minutes to get through and when I do call them, they are very rude and impatient over the phone. Get it together Safeway! I'm done with this pharmacy. Keep an eye put for my dirty looks as I walk past counter! Hahaha

Can never get thru to get anyone to help and when you do they are rude and often provide inaccurate information. Every other pharmacy can give you an estimate of what the cost will be at pick up and their answer is always "I don't know" (literally). Lines are always very, very long so wait times are crazy. I am sure they are short staffed but treating customers poorly because of that isn't right. We only have one RX here and that is solely due to the doctor not working with the other pharmacy in town.

If i could give this less than 1 star I most certainly would. Every interaction with the pharmacy staff has been so cold and rude. I will take my prescriptions and the rest of my grocery shopping elsewhere.

Not one to write reviews or speak about experiences, but there’s a pattern of unprofessional behavior going on. In the past the staff has always been very rude and short with customers as if it’s a hassle for them to do their job, let alone do it right the first time. For almost 2 weeks now I’ve been trying to get them to refill my prescription, which I do rely on so there is a slight sense of urgency in the matter. They’ve send me on a scavenger hunt to call my previous pharmacy and doctors to get them to resend prescription, only to find out the prescription was sent to the pharmacy a week prior. Following this, they would hang up on me as I’m speaking to them on the phone, and ultimately resulted in not answer the phone any time I called. Could be that they were too busy to answer the phone but I had been calling them for two days, every single phone call was ignored? Not a coincidence in my opinion. I find this behavior unacceptable and beyond unprofessional. I’d give it zero stars if I could.
