“Shout out to the staff member at Urbanite who remembered me after I was out of town two weeks for my daughter’s graduation and asking me how it went! Very friendly and personal service. Love this store and all the great vendors! Thank you!”
“My mom gave her old typewriter to my daughter so we brought it by Type Space for a quick check-up. Not only did Tony clean it up and make sure everything was in good working order, her also took the time to show my daughter all of the functions, use the serial number to look up the year of manufacture, and emailed a PDF of the original manual. We will definitely be heading back here for all of our typewriter needs!”
“My husband and I love to antique and have done so throughout the country and even in parts of Europe. By far, this is the best antique mall we have ever been to. Beautifully curated and most booths were priced incredibly well. Our one regret was, we only had an hour to shop before catching a flight and had limited space left in our luggage.”
“One of my favorite stores, ever, actually… the family history, the range of items collected and sold is vast. Come for trains, games, music media, posters, freeze-fried candy, even. You’ll wanna come back. & a word of advice, just get it. You don’t wanna leave and wish you got it.
Oh, and you can sell there too if you have a collection or item you want to get a number on. Chat with them the next time you’re in.
Enjoy your visit!”
“A carefully curated and organized (and really beautiful) shop full of neat stuff. Focused on hardware, of course, but still one of the best antique shops I've been to.”
“My favorite spot to browse antiques in Portland! It feels like a hidden gem, with just the right balance of display and potential for rummaging. They are always so lovely and knowledgeable, and really went above and beyond for our furniture delivery. It’s tough for a collector to give up the dirt on a favorite spot, but I really want this family business to thrive. Long live R. Spencer Antiques!”
“Love this place. My favorite carts and gummies are on sale on Fridays SUPER cheap, I always make sure to get in! Friendly service, other fun stuff to look at! I often end up choosing a cute enamel pin, sticker, or stone while I'm there.”
“This shop is nothing short but amazing, interesting, with a wonderful selection of oddities and trinkets! It is also just so fun to walk in and see what they got, as things tend to come and go! They also have an amazing oddities exhibit for such an affordable price! Please visit and support this wonderful family owned shop!”

“After your visit to Cargo you should really swing by the fabulous shop. There’s so much more to Vermouth than your mom’s martini!
While you’re there check out the gorgeous glassware , bar set ups and tiki cups.
It’s all beautifully curated and you can lear a lot from Trent, your lovely and hospitable host.”

“After my last major birthday, and having had to deal with my parent’s estate, I decided that it was time to part with some of my own vintage jewelry.
Of course, I offered the pieces to my adult children, who were simply not interested.
I didn’t want these wonderful pieces to end up in “the scrap pile”.
The lovely buyer at Poor Mouchette listened to me and treated my pieces with the love and respect that they deserved. She was honest about valuations and made the process feel like a celebration.
We were offered a fair price and I left knowing that these treasures will go on to someone who will love the vintage pieces as much as my grandmother and I had loved them.
This is a wonderful business, run by a caring and talented artist.”

“My go to place when i need a New England fix...the smells and decor give such ambience and the smell of Fall has arrived...Joan the owner is always pretty much able to answer any questions and share info...been going there since 1985!”
“Store is an amazing collection of mid century, contemporary, and Asian furniture in decor at amazing prices. The staff are friendly and helpful. Went for the first time today "just to look" and came home with a beautiful antique table. They offer a unique mix of options and appear to have new items moving through frequently. Don't forget to check out bar ware in the basement!”

“O. M. G! The Vintage Nest is my FAVORITE spot to wander around, relax, reminisce, and find some great inspiration. I love me some farmhouse. And furniture flipping. They even have a seller of quality furniture chalk paint! Decor, gifts, furniture knobs, odds and ends. I love everything about this place! They have an array of antuque, vintage as well as newer items to purchase. Prices range depending on each seller. But I have never walked out with buyers remorse! I will always come back. As a matter of fact. Im headed in the front door in just a min!!!”
“Feel like you’ve stepped back in time. The nostalgia is consuming. Suddenly you have an overwhelming desire to retrofit your entire home-Wait, actually move into a new home which is reminiscent of The Brady Bunch-or possibly a cool apartment like in Mary Tyler Moore and go all out with new-old-decor. It’s that good. Go, enjoy the experience-and remember to chat with the staff, they are an incredibly friendly bunch.”
“Spent the day with my husband today visiting vintage shops around Portland. We had the most fun visiting this super cute place!! We shared with the owner, and with another nice guy working behind the counter, that it was our 30th wedding anniversary. Talk about going above and beyond! They spent lots of time, showing us many rings, explaining details about each one. Were we rushed??? Nope! Not at all! Felt so at ease just shopping and being shown excellent customer service! The super nice guy working behind the counter ( sorry I didn’t get his name!) was awesome! He gave us several suggestions of places to go for shopping and dinner on our special day!! Very down to earth, super nice people! If you’re looking for some cool Persian rugs this is a great place to go. Great deals!”
“Pretty great place! All in all it’s just a “Goodwill Highlight Reel” but there’s plenty of nostalgia to make up for the prices. Expect to find T-shirts that were once around $5 at your local goodwill, for $45. They also had some pretty cool “The Crow” trading cards. Go Brandon Lee! Bring your film cameras here, great place for vintage pictures that’ll make your friends think you can time travel.”

“Visiting from out of town and found this place just hours before my flight. What a treat! I wish I had more time and could visit when they restock! I'll be back anytime I'm in Portland.
I also love that I didn't feel pressured, no one chased me around the shop. It was at my pace and leisure to explore different corners of the well curated store!”

“A very special shop. I don’t live in the Milwaukie area, but it’s worth the mileage when I need a special gift. I also pop in when I do nearby hikes. The atmosphere (and pampering) in the shop makes me feel special and pretty, even though I don’t look so great after a few thousand steps!”
“A true gem of a shop full of folk art, unique vintage, and contemporary artists work you can’t find elsewhere. There’s a back story for every piece that the owner selects and it’s all so thoughtfully put together. Highly recommend?”
“So much military collectibles put into one place! Just such a fun place to look and touch all of the history that they won’t let you touch in museums. Good people that are trying to make a living saving history from the dumpster for us to be able to enjoy.”

“Beautiful shop with amazing people who were happy to help us find our long-sought antique standing ashtray. Well, two ashtrays actually... since we couldn't choose between them ?”
“Oko is the most lovely place.
I have bought two rings from them—who doesn’t need a gift… or 2… for themselves!?—and they are so utterly beautiful. I never take them off and never plan to.
Those working in the store (including the owner) clearly care so deeply about what they do. They understand jewelry and listen to what you have to say. They make you feel like a friend immediately.
The first ring I bought I came in to try on two times before deciding to splurge and each time they were so sweet and patient and not sales-y at all. Their ring sizer (which I needed for both rings) did an amazing job as well for such a reasonable price.
At some point I told them I wanted a ring with a snake one day, not thinking anything of it. A few weeks later they texted me with a picture of a new snake ring they’d gotten in, which took me by such sweet surprise.
They’re truly the best people with the most unique and special collection of beautiful and stunning jewelry. And I should have written this review a year ago.”
“i love going to elemental arts. very caring people, homey. There's always something new to see. It's right by 2 coffee shops as well as Henry Higgins, its a great spot to chill, relax and enjoy all the beautiful treasures. i really hope everyone gets to see it too.”
“The guy that owns this store is always super helpful and super straight forward about every thing.I love that he is a hands on and will get his hands dirty helping people clean up property to help him with his antique collection. If there is something he won't buy due to not of interest or lack of space he will usually have someone he can recommend to bring them to.He has been super helpful and informative the last few years I have been talking to him.”
“Multnomah Antiques is a hidden gem of an antique store. It's much bigger than it appears to be from the outside and they have quite a variety of things to look at. I enjoyed seeing the a lot of things that reminded me of my childhood.”
“A lovely little ship filled with a wonderful assortment of antiques and oddities. I always swing through when they're open and I happen to strolling through downtown Gladstone and it's the first place I think of when I need a gift for someone.”
