AL is personable, and very knowledgeable about every aspect of his business. Highly recommended. Remember, it is a small shop, but very up to date. It might take a little longer, but it is quality work at a good price.

Great and honest guy. Stands behind his word! Was looking for a specific part for my yxz and he put in his own time and effort in finding me what I needed. A+

Al should rename the shop uncle Al’s air conditioning service shop? He did a great job on getting my AC working and charged me a reasonable price I give uncle Al four stars plus one for the chat time.

I have not had my car serviced here because Al was so unpleasant on the phone that I wouldn’t dare! I called on referral from another car professional. Here’s the conversation: For context, I drive a 2016 Range Rover Sport.
Me: Hi. I was referred by xxxxx. They said you dont have time until next week. I’d like to make an appointment—
Al: (in a ridiculously condescending tone) We don’t do appointments here. There are no panini makers or cappuccinos, either. Just drop your car off, okay?
Me: Other than the fact that I drive a Range Rover, is there something I said that made you believe I wanted to order a panini?
Al: Just bring your car off Tuesday and we’ll take care of it.
Me: Okay. Thanks.
My feeling is that life is too short for people like this. Al….you just lost a customer. And maybe a few others. But from the way you talked to me, you probably don’t give a rip. Good luck with that!

I can't recommend Uncle Al's Automotive enough! As a family-owned and operated business, they truly embody what it means to provide personalized, honest, and high-quality automotive service. From the moment I first walked in, I felt like a valued customer, not just another number.
The team at Uncle Al's consistently goes above and beyond. They take the time to clearly explain any issues with my vehicle, offering transparent pricing and never pushing for unnecessary repairs. It's refreshing to find a shop where you feel you can genuinely trust their recommendations. Their mechanics are incredibly skilled and thorough, ensuring the job is done right the first time.
What really sets them apart is the genuine care they show. You can tell they take pride in their work and truly care about their customers' safety and satisfaction. Whether it's a routine oil change, a complex repair, or just a quick question, they handle everything with professionalism and a friendly demeanor.
If you're looking for an automotive shop that combines expert craftsmanship with a personal touch and unwavering integrity, look no further than Uncle Al's. They've earned a customer for life!

Uncle Al's Automotive Services is great. Our family had a personal emergency where we are going to travel across the U.S. during winter and we needed to have our vehicle inspected before we hit the road. Even though Uncle Al was busy, he was very kind to squeeze us in. He learned we needed front brakes. I told Uncle Al, I have gone to several mechanics and mentioned to them, I felt something was wrong with the brakes but the mechanics that I visited in the past, could never find anything wrong. I am so grateful Uncle Al found out I needed brakes. I feel so much safer and so grateful. Thank you Uncle Al's Automotive Services.

Called this place about after hours RV repair and I asked if they worked on RV’s and all he said is “Yes but it’s after 7pm”. Lmao then what’s the freaking point of this business advertising they do. Very much not recommended. Too many other good business’s to go to this one.

The guy tells me to bring my truck in never worked on it. I picked it up. Never got a call back or an apology. And this is my neighbor.

The mechanic seemed nice at first and more than willing to look at my car and work on it. Once we dropped it off we never heard back from him, he almost never picked up the phone or gave us an update. When I called three weeks into him having the car he said he had barely looked at it past running the codes, which he said there were nine codes popping up, but when we ran it there was only one. I tried calling the next week and all he said was he THINKS it’s a blown head gasket but hadn’t fully looked at it. I then asked for an estimate and he said he would call back with one which he NEVER did. I had called him nonstop for two weeks, he never picked up. My dad’s friend drove past the shop various times to see my car parked blocks down from the shop and constantly being moved around to avoid getting a ticket. Every time my dad went to pick up the car during business hours the shop was closed. Finally my dad left a voicemail for him to which he actually did respond to but the LIED and him that he had told me that he REFUSED to work on it because it would be to much work, which NEVER happened.Avoid this place at all costs, it’s a scam and a time suck.

I've been going to Al's for years because he's local but the quality and customer service are lacking No booking management system and he throws out a random date to bring it in for service without taking your name. He has no invoicing and lacks communication skills. Most recently I took my Yukon in for service for one thing and they didn't fix it and said they didn't have time to figure it out despite telling me when to take it in. Months later I returned for the work and they did many things without a quote and without my consent. Often times I do my own work on my vehicles and am very aware he gouged me on the price and blamed me for their error. It doesn't take 3 hours to replace break pads yet that's what he charged. To add injury to insult they didn't even look at the initial repair I came in for in the first place. This guy is rather incompetent in managing a business.

Totally disorganized and lacks the skills to effectively manage a business. No appointment times set up. No invoicing and avoids discussing price. He did repairs on my vehicle I never received a price before the work and totally fabricated the hours. Charging me three hours to replace a wheel hub is insane and even worse that there was an additional 90 mins to install break pads and rotors when that takes me 30 mins per wheel at home. After years of tying to support a local business its not worth hearing this guy say he didn't have time to get to something despite having my car there for a week on a time he told me to come in for service. Providing a quote for approval is pretty standard in every business but not at Al's
