“This post office has been WAY better since they restaffed! The new staff they have hired are helpful and friendly, and I have yet to have a poor experience with any of them :) its very unfortunate that they still do not deliver to houses around here so you do need to get a P.O box, but the interactions with these employees is easy, smooth, and often very fast. They deliver mail and letters to the correct boxes unlike previous staff who would often misdeliver and loose mail.”

“I’ve lived in Depoe Bay for about eight months and have been consistently impressed with the gentleman who works the counter at the Depoe Bay post office. Every time I’ve gone in—about six or seven visits so far—he has been friendly, professional, and helpful. I also called once to ask about a package and received assistance beyond what I expected.

Our mail carrier also does a great job delivering both our regular mail and the steady stream of Amazon packages that show up at our house. He delivers with care and does his best to place packages where they won’t get rained on.

The postal service usually only gets attention when something goes wrong, but in eight months here I haven’t had a single issue—which tells me the people working both at the counter and behind the scenes are doing their jobs really well.

For a small coastal town, the level of service here is genuinely impressive.

“Thank you Alvaro, I think that was their name. I was waiting in line to pick up a delivery that wasn't able to complete. It was my anniversary gift for my gf so I was a little annoyed that there was an issue getting it on time. But as I'm waiting in line, this employee came from the back when they saw me and helped me super smoothly. They were very polite, quick, and efficient. A lot of employees can be tunnel visioned with tasks, so I recognize employees who are self aware of their environment/needs all around the business and quick to react and this was 10/10. The fact they noticed from the back and didn't ignore me really surprised me. Anyways, enjoy the 5 star rating, and keep them around. They are an employee to invest in.”
