Gold Beach Inn is a rustic property right on the beach, offering a quiet stay with an easy walk to the ocean. Some rooms feature amazing ocean views, though others may not. The cabins and rooms are old but in decent condition, generally clean, and can be comfy with plenty of room for families. Some units have fireplaces, mini fridges, and microwaves, but no full kitchens. Guests report issues like no air conditioning, small fans, older towels, and occasional minor repairs or interior water leaks. A significant point of disappointment is the hot tub and pool, often closed for maintenance, which some guests felt was false advertising. Breakfast is included but considered mediocre or not much, typically offering biscuits and gravy, cereal, yogurt, muffins, fresh fruit, and hot coffee, with very limited seating. Staff experiences are mixed; some employees like Cassandra are described as friendly, professional, warm, and helpful, while others are not. The property has lots of parking and is close to stores and restaurants. While some guests call it a hidden gem and would return, others were disappointed and might only consider staying again if nothing else is available.
I had a lovely time walking the beach while staying at the Inn. One star removed because the front desk attendant acted like he'd rather hide from the guests than do anything other than the bare minimum but I'd stay again. The rooms were spacious (not the cleanest), but quiet and the beach access was nice.

Not bad, good beach access. For the price it really is nice. The hot tub is down, the website doesn't show that, but are you really going there for the hottub? Seriously, not the nicest place, but at the price point the value is great.
