SMC was always known for their great buffet, fine and casual dining for reasonable prices. In the past, Casinos used cheap food to lure in gamblers. This is no longer the case. Casinos have decided they need to make a profit on their F&B. SMC has closed their buffet and the Summit. Their prices have gone up and the portions have shrunk. A Reuben with one or two slices of meat. Halibut Fish and Chips with 5 or 6 ounces of fish. A side of Cole Slaw in a butter ramakin. There are still some decent offerings such as Burgers and Salads.

If you’re in need of a bite in between, before or after gambling, this would be a good place to hit. The food is actually pretty decent, and the portions are enormous. We split 2 entrees between 3 of us and still had food leftover. It is very much a sports bar, so there quite a few big screen tvs hanging around with different sports. The food isn’t anything super spectacular, but it tastes good.We visited during a concert, so the place was pretty packed and there was a line. But we only ended up waiting for about 15 minutes. The host also went through the line asking people if they were there to see the concert, so I thought that was considerate.Vegetarian options: Nothing is clearly labeled vegetarian, but there are options.Parking: Even during a concert, we found plenty of parking.

Pleasantly surprised with the food choices. The service by all staff was above and beyond.

The North bar at Spirit Mountain is the WORST! Paying $8 for a 7 and 7 with a drop of alcohol both today and yesterday. When I brought it back to the bartender she was very rude and refused to make me another one unless she charged me. Only took a sip of it. That's ridiculous paying $8 for soda. Told her they have no clue how to make drinks. At least Chinook Winds knows how to make descent drinks. BEWARE OF THE DRINKS YOU ORDER AT SPIRIT MOUNTAIN EVERYONE!!! They don't even deserve one star!!!

Our favorite casino outside of Vegas. The employee's are super friendly and helpful. The RV Resort is new and they are improving the property as they get more feedback from people who stay there. It is a nice property with full hookups for all lengths of trailers and rv's. They also have a few tiny houses to rent as well. It is about a 40 minute drive to get to the beach. The hotel is great as well. Our check in experience at the front desk was easy and the employees were super friendly and helpful. Unfortunately, they do not have pet friendly rooms. The casino area is super clean AND SMOKE FREE. They do have a sealed off smoking area for those that smoke. It is nice to go to Spirit Mountain Casino and not have to breathe cigarette smoke and smell like cigarettes when you leave. Hopefuly other casinos will follow this lead. The bathrooms are well maintained and clean. They have a great selection of slots and an adequate amount of table games. They have multiple restaraunts to eat and drink. The players club offers generous comps for Hotel, RV Resort stays, food and free play. Enjoy your visit and hope you get a hand pay!

Mediocre food at best. Even worse now that they jacked up the prices on all the food. $12 for a cup of clam chowder? Seriously?

Went to gift shop found a lot good things and clothes and jewelry, jams, honey. Not much of native things made by the tribe which was sad. Went to the coffee shop next to gift shop they had some made to go sandwiches salad and a variety of ice cream, pastries. Coffee part has hot & cold mixed drinks such good flavors, had Irish brava and not bad prices. They are towards the end of the casino, away from the gambling section.

Cool place to get away to. $2.00 waters in the north bar though!! Omg I can't believe it. I had to get up and go to the beverage station 200 feet way to get my water when I was sitting at the birth bar this evening. I was you got to be kidding me. I had already lost $300.00 so I was like I am outta here. I mean the lady bartender did ask if wanted anything to drink after 10 mins of sitting there on the back side of the bar they never pay any attention to. lol

The security guards are over the top and commit borderline harassment, Chris followed me throughout the casino and forced me to move tables because "I didn't look like I belonged there".

Chris takes his 5 hours shift at $15 an hour too serious, he doesn't follow the casino policy on the website

Casinos are definitely NOT my thing. I'm not a gambler, I only came here to see a band (and to get out of Vancouver for a few days). So, this review is basically of the hotel and overall experience: 1. Check-in staff: SUPERB!!!! Excellently friendly and helpful, and very nice. 2. Hotel room: Great! Very spacious, clean, and roomy, with good amenities (refrigerator, wardrobe, ample storage, big beds, luxurious bathrooms). Things were very quiet as well. 3. Grounds: Very clean and well-maintained. I walked the entire perimeter enough times to get an 8-mile walk in, and doing so was easy and fun (lots of nice things to see along the way) 4. Hotel amenities: Not many...no spa, no pool 5. Price: Seems high for what you're actually getting 6: Dining: Not so good...lots of different restaurants, all expensive, and all not terribly good (again, though, service is AWESOME)

You must see this upgraded casino at Grand Ronde, OR. Just like the old days coming here.
